Amazing cinnamon, definitely real one, will buy again

As someone who uses cinnamon every day, choosing the right type of cinnamon is crucial for me. I’ve known for a while that what’s commonly sold in supermarkets is not actually true cinnamon, but Cassia cinnamon, a cheaper and more widely available alternative. Cassia may be fine in small amounts, but it contains much higher levels of cinnamaldehyde and coumarin, both of which can be toxic in larger amounts, particularly for the liver. The problem is, it's quite difficult to find Ceylon cinnamon in supermarkets. They just don’t seem to stock it, and if they do, it’s usually insanely expensive for a very small amount. Fortunately, I discovered this raw, organic Ceylon cinnamon powder from Sevenhills Wholefoods and couldn’t be more pleased with it. If you’re familiar with Ceylon cinnamon, you’ll immediately recognise that this is genuine Ceylon cinnamon, the variety native to Sri Lanka and South East India. If you haven’t tried it before, the difference is evident from the moment you open the package, even before you taste it. The aroma is much more vibrant and earthy compared to Cassia, and the texture is soft and slightly fibrous, as it should be, rather than the overly processed powders you get elsewhere. I use this cinnamon in everything, from my morning health drinks and porridges to homemade breads, desserts, and dishes, and the flavour it imparts is unbeatable. It’s more subtle than Cassia, yet it still has a complexity that really enhances both sweet and savoury dishes. I also love that this product is raw and organic, meaning I can enjoy it knowing the nutrients haven’t been destroyed by overheating and without worrying about pesticides or harmful chemicals. Plus, the health benefits of Ceylon cinnamon are well-documented. It helps with blood sugar control, is anti-inflammatory, and contains much lower levels of coumarin, which is a big plus for someone like me who consumes cinnamon daily, and I have certainly felt its benefits first-hand. In terms of value, yes, it is more expensive than the cheap supermarket jars, but you need much less of it. A small amount goes a long way due to its potency, and the resealable packaging keeps it fresh for ages. I purchased the 500g bag for £12.99, and given how long it lasts, I’d say it’s an excellent investment in both health and flavour. Not only is it healthier due to its lower coumarin levels, but it’s also far superior in flavour. Once you try it, you won’t want to go back to the inferior supermarket Cassia. Oh wow this is gorgeous cinnamon. You can tell the difference to the stuff you get in jars at the shops. It is worth paying that bit extra for the good stuff. You won't regret it.

This true organic non-GMO cinnamon powder is a good product. It is very good for your health as it is rich in antioxidants, can lower blood sugar levels, improve gut health, improve dental hygiene, help weight loss, improve memory, and more. It has a good texture, but I can't give more than 4 stars as it is a bit overpriced. Would recommend but not at this price.

What a fantastic addition to protein shakes, healthy and adding lots of benefits rather than supplements to your shakes or yoghurt. Helps keep your blood sugar regulated and really helpful when training to add all these powders fresh and home made to your morning protein shake.

Couldn't tell much the difference between this and the one bought in supermarket. This should be of higher quality, but for me, the taste is the same...I'm giving this to my baby, add just a bit of this into her food, when needed, but she doesn't seem to like it when I add it, so won't buy it again.

Fine in smoothies or porridge but would use in a cake as the smell is a bit like soil. Seems to taste like cinnamon but the smell really doesn't match!

Moim zdaniem, to najlepszy mielony cynamon jaki można zakupić. Kupuję regularnie od kilku lat i żaden inny cynamon nie ma tego wspaniałego zapachu, smaku i konsystencji proszku.

Dit is de minst naar kaneel smakende kaneel die ik ooit heb geproefd, daarom 1 ster. Retour sturen mag met deze artikelen niet, dus je wordt daadwerkelijk belazerd. Dit poeder hebben ze verdund met iets dat nergens naar smaakt, je ziet het ook aan de kleur, het is amper licht-bruin te noemen. Allesbehalve puur kaneel, en zeker niet 'rechtstreeks van de organic farm' dit. Ik heb zelf kaneel verbouwd jaren geleden, en dit smaakt echt niet meer naar kaneel dan hooguit 20% ervan, of iets daaromtrent. De meest slappe verdunde kaneel die ik ooit in mijn leven heb geproefd.
