So I finally used this for the turkey on Thanksgiving. Turkey was done sooner than I expected and it was perfect! I am very glad I purchased this roaster—saved room in the oven for other dishes and was easy to use and clean up. It takes up some room in the counter but I’m now looking forward to using it for baking bread and making other things. Excellent quality!

Keep your money. This VEVOR Roaster Oven is one AWFUL DISGRACE! The interior enamel pan WARPED under LOW HEAT and the enamel chipped off in two locations after I used it ONLY TWICE. I was using it to cook a crock pot style meal at a low temperature (250 degrees for 5.5 hours) and it never got above 275 degrees even the first time I used it to defrost meat. That did not matter - the interior pan and enamel is so POORLY AND CHEAPLY MADE that the metal warped and enamel chipped off! This should NOT happen at any of the rated temperatures on the dial, and certainly not at LOW temperature. I had my doubts before I ordered it because these various products all over Amazon usually have strange names that nobody has ever heard of before. It's because the Chinese are too calculating and cheap to pay someone to come up with a name that actually sounds good to English speakers, so you wind up with all these weird sounding, very shoddy products that don't last or even function sometimes. This has become a huge problem on Amazon. It is really a crap shoot anymore when you buy something. I promise you that Amazon knows all about this and they do not care because they are making enough money selling this cheap junk at inflated prices to withstand the high rate of returns they receive on these items. You see, when this item leaves the factory in the land of Mao, it actually costs about four dollars and seven cents. But when it gets to YOU, dear Americans, the inflated price you pay for zero quality is $79.99. RIPOFF!! Of course, I am returning this piece of junk and getting my money back. I will pay more money somewhere else and get a name brand that actually works. Just try to find a name brand quality roaster oven on Amazon. You will find a hen with teeth that sings and dances before you do so. This review is as of 10-22-25 and I paid $62.99 for this ripoff on 10-17-25. Unbelievably, they are even more expensive one month later, in the range of $72.99 to $99.99 depending on from whom you are so very unlucky enough to buy them.

Five stars for this turkey roaster. Lightweight, easy to clean. Gets very hot very fast, and does a magnificent job. Clean up is easy with soap and water and gentle scrubbing. I cooked a 15 lb bird basted with a garlic herb butter, and some chopped onion, celery and carrot inside. I dusted the bird with a spice mix and salted the skin. That’s it. The first half hour is cooked at 450 degrees. You can hear it sizzle. It does smoke a bit as the butter burned, but it wasn’t excessive enough to set off the smoke alarms. Then turn down to 350. The booklet is well laid out, easy to read and has recipe solutions for other meals. I’m glad I made this purchase.

Ordered this as my second oven quit and we have a lot of family over for our dinners. First, it was late in arriving. Didn't get it until a week after Christmas. First thing I decided to make was a stew. The meat and vegetables were very tender. The roaster did not clean up easily. Didn't want to scrub it but after soaking was able to clean it. Then, I noticed that the lid and roaster were discolored. Not that it will affect the cooking but there are dull parts and shiny parts to both the lid and roaster. Haven't tried a turkey yet, but I hope it does what the other reviews say it does.
