Well I got these to block out tube noise, plane noise and noisy neighbours, they do this very very effectively even with no music playing. Sound quality is also fantastic with just the right amount of bass. They are professional headphones so don't expect dre levels of bass, buy them to hear quality music in a quality way.

Excellent headphones. The sound from an mp3 player is great and listening to other higher quality sources of music these headphones really shine. The dynamic range in my opinion is excellent with nice deep bass to a crisp treble with clear mid sound make for a pleasant listen all round. Also the ability to replace leads or individual headphones should they become damaged is a nice touch especially as the cable on older shures tended to be a weak point (this has now been strengthend on this version). Very pleased with my purchase

So these headphones aren't earth-shatteringly good, but at their price point they're unrivalled. I found them to be a bit muddy/cloudy sounding (if that makes sense) but that's really only in comparison with other MUCH better, and much more expensive, headphones. Putting them into your ears is a lil bit tricky, not a deal breaker they're just a wee bit awkward. If these brake in three years time I'll definitely buy them again, if they brake sooner than that I'll see what shure say before moving on. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking at sub €150 iem's.

These have been my daily driver in the office for about 6months now. They sound great, no over emphasis on the bass. just a crisp sound signature. ( i listen to Rock / Indie / Metal ) and these work great for me. I especially love the replaceable cable considering how many earphones I have brutally murdered over the years. You wont regret these.

my cable striped only after 6 months and they said they will replace it! so they did with the cheap cable that did not work! i emailed them to tell them and i have had no response for the amount of money that they cost i would recommend looking at a different brand!

Great sound, lives up to its expectations

I really like listening to these headphones, the sound is great, and with the foam earpieces they are very good at blocking sound. However, they are very fiddly to put into your ears, with the bizzare forward/upwards facing wires. Because you often have to twist one of the wires over to fit over your ear, the cables will often tangle and not lie nicely. Because the sound isolating is so good, I often need to remove one of the ear pieces in order to hear what is going on around me, which means I then have to put it back in, which isn't easy. Overall I'm pleased I bought them, but I'll probably only use them when to listen to music when I don't think I'll be interrupted very often, or when I need to be aware of my surroundings.

Ok I admit it, I'm and Apple fan. Call me unimaginative if you will but I like products which work well, are easy to use and are excellently designed. These 'phones only fulfil the first of these three criteria. The sound is full and warm and works reproduces MP3 recordings on my iPad and iPhone beautifully. But oh, what a pain they are to put on! They need to be inserted in the ears in just the right way and then the cord looped behind the ear. For me the buds kept falling out and the cord was stiff and didn't mould to the ear at all. I found the whole experience annoying and disappointing, because on the occasions when they did stay in my ear I loved the sound. I accept that for many folks contemplating buying these 'phones they will not have my problems. After all, my wife says I have terrible spatial awareness. I am the type who reads instruction manuals because I can't follow the illustrations! The point remains that I think that if Shure followed the Apple principle of great design they would not have come up with a pair of 'phones like this.

Diese Kopfhörer haben mich von Anfang an begeistert: Selbst bei stärkeren Außengeräuschen, die sehr gut ausgefiltert werden, sind leiseste Töne, die ich sonst weder bei Overear-Kopfhörern noch beim direkten Hören wahrgenommen habe, glasklar und in hervorragender Qualität zu hören. Wie bereits erwähnt ist das sound cancelling ein weiteres dickes Plus, wenn ich ungestört Musik hören möchte. Wenn es mehr als 5 Sterne gäbe, würde ich sie hier unbedingt vergeben. Deshalb leider nur die hier mögliche volle Punktzahl! Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Por fin unos auriculares para tocar la guitarra que suenan bien, excelentemente bien. Muy equilibrados y comodos. Para quienes tenemos problemas con auriculares grandes y los pequeños nos suenan todoa a chicharra, estos son los ideales, sobretodo para guitarristas electricos.

Ho preso queste cuffie perchè cercavo delle cuffie che mi isolassero degnamente sia sul luogo di lavoro sia quando sono per strada, perchè voglio ascoltare la mia musica godendo dei suoni e i podcast evitando rumori esterni, imballo perfetto, tutto perfetto. Il problema è dopo, perchè bisogna perdere qualche minuto per imparare ad indossarle, per fare questo ho visionato qualche video su youtube ed oggi le indosso abbastanza facilmente. Una volta indossate sono praticamente inamovibili, quindi scordatevi di girare la testa e perdere le cuffie :) non succederà mai! Segnalo il filo decisamente lungo, tanto lungo da poter avere il telefono in una tasca vicino al ginocchio ed avere molto gioco per i movimenti. L'impressione è che siano davvero estremamente solide e...lo sono.

J'avais envie d'écouteurs intra de qualité et avec une diminution importante du son ambiant, et bien j'ai été agréablement surpris par ces écouteurs qui sont exactement ce qu'il me fallait ! + isolation très bonne + qualité impécable - fil trop long - difficile de mettre les mettre bien dans les oreilles, mais on s'y habitue vite

The stock foam ear tips were great but I can't find them anymore the replacement tips aren't the same and that's very sad. I went on a quest to find good replacement ear tips after the stock ones gave out. No luck, there are comfortable ones out there but not sound isolating. Instead of trying to find the one after your stock ones give out I recommend going for custom tips instead which I'll be going for now.
