UMII12-22 Ultimax II 12" DVC Subwoofer 2 Ohm Per Coil

OK so I am loving this subwoofer. I currently am living with someone that runs two parts express knockdown flat pack sealed 15 inch boxes which is the exact same door 15 inch set up that I am currently about to do. He is running UM – 15–22 gen ones supposedly the gen 2’s sound better can handle a little bit more power. And is overall a better sub I haven’t heard it, but I love the look of both models. I am in love with the sound coming from the first generation subwoofer along with the Behringer NX 6000 D that we are both running all around is an amazing sub it digs deep it sounds absolutely amazing. It’ll blow your mind on DIY builds it functions amazing you can throw a lot of power at it and they will not blow. They will blow your mind in my opinion. The best bang for the book there is to buy if you run the right DSP settings, which it is a pain in the ass, but you can get them to sound absolutely phenomenal and cranked them to outrageous levels without bottoming out or distortion. They are all around a durable sub and I very much like them. I am super super super impressed. I cannot wait to buy a second one and get them to installed in my boxes and running. this is the absolute best subwoofer you can get for 120$ if your chasing deep chest felt lows and low end extension. not an spl built driver but it still does get pretty loud too. you won't find a better option from any popular brand for 120$. buy it. absolutely digs the lows in my 29hz tuned box.

Very low distortion even at high cliping. Sounds great in the prefab ported skar box. Highly recommended. Very musical bass..Great build quality. Alot more high end then kicker or skar.

Purchased to replace an older blown driver of lesser quality. The original ported cabinet was in good shape and is in a commercial building so I didn't want to be called again for service. I picked this based on previous success with Dayton Audio drivers. This unit is 3 types the quality and weight of the one it replaced. The enhanced performance was noticeable as well however that really became obvious after about 6 hours of break in playing a playlist with heavy bass on each tune at normal volume. Again this driver is very heavy with is indicative of good quality.

Upgraded from a decent 100$ sub. This has the excursion needed to reveal the feeling and musicality of the bass note as the artist intended. Very pleased. It would be good if a dual coil 4ohm was available as my other mono block isn’t 1ohm stable.

Used for car audio for my case, sounds phenomenal, has no mechanical noise, I have it in an infinite baffle/ trunk baffle setup. Going roughly 8-months strong

Great sounding woofer. I went with the Parts Express recommend sealed enclosure and paired it with the Dayton SPA500 amplifier. One of the keys to this woofer in my opinion is to let it break in properly. It was a little weak the first few of days of play but it definitely woke up after the break in period! Definitely a good value if are into building your own speakers.
