Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Firming Butter, 315ml

Amazing product. This has definitely had a smoothing affect on my skin after losing 4 stone and being left a bit 'baggy' round the middle! Ok, so nothing other than plastic surgery is going to perform a miracle, but anything that leaves my skin smoother and even slightly firmer is a winner in my book. This product smells gorgeous, really chocolatey, so might be a bit overpowering for anyone adverse to that rich, creamy, vanillary smell, but I can't get enough of it! I'm on my 3rd bottle, with more in stock, and I'm really pleased that I've found a rich but not greasy product to make my skin look and feel better. I even use it on my face at night and I'm convinced it's helping that too. Best of all, it's not a ridiculously priced product, so I'm staying with it if only for the sake of my self esteem!

I get this every month on subscription, have done for years. Its brilliant stuff, nice scent and soaks in well, and is firming. However, this months bottle is nothing like the others. It's got an astringent chemical smell, not like cocoa butter. It sits on the skin, doesn't soak in. It's completely different to usual. I've compared it to my last bottle and it's very different. I'm going to buy a replacement from a shop, as I'm pretty sure I have received a fake product.

I love the smell of this cream, even more than regular cocoa butter. We are cocoa butter enthusiasts in our house and I have tried nearly every thing in the Palmers range. This one remains a firm favourite for me as I just love the smell. Can’t say as I noticed much of a change relating to forming but having said that I don’t have overly saggy bits nor use it on my body daily. I tend to use it as a face cream or if I have dry patches (such as my shins, hence hard to gauge firmness). Will continue to purchase for as long as they make this version. The pump doesn’t work on my last purchase however I’ve never had this issue before so am happy it’s an isolated duff one. Hasn’t put me off as I still can use it.

I really like this product and used to use it in the past but then it seemed to disappear from the market. I was delighted then to find it being sold on amazon by Morrisons. Never would have thought to look for it in my local store. Really cheap price too. Having read reviews about the problem with pump mechanism not working, I still bought it(3 bottles) and-no surprise-pump does not work on any of my bottles. However, I just pull tube right out and slide the cream off it and apply to my skin. No prob. Cream smells of chocolate which I love. It is very emollient and soaks easily into skin. Not sure about the claim that it firms skin but it certainly makes it smooth and soft. Love it and would recommend.

The product is very good quality and effective. Not crazy about the chocolatey scent, but I don’t mind so much since it’s a good product. But next time I’m getting it from the shop, because Amazon seems to be full of products with broken/compromised packaging charged at full price. This one arrived with a broken pump.

This lotion is unbelievable, it actually does what it says it will. I love it, its rich and creamy but it is so easy to put on. I have to say it has rather a strange smell but don't let that put you off. Some may like the smell, I don't but you do get used to it. The pros out weigh the cons, Buy it! It's fab.

amazing product if you like a thick moisturiser. Firming sensation isn’t the strongest compared to other brands but great smell and thick consistency which helps so much with dry skin

Smells delicious and leaves skins feeling lovely and soft. I do believe it helps to firm skin but I also go swimming so maybe it’s a mixture of both?!!
