I recently purchased the Momcozy Video Baby Monitor for my daughter and new grandson, and it has been a fantastic addition to their home for several reasons: 1. Good picture, and distance. Camera gets hot and monitor randomly restarts. Edit: updating review because of amazing and responsive customer service. Provided a solution for issue. Would purchase/try again based on CS, the picture quality, distance, and no WiFi.

Love I can add up to 4 cameras I currently have 3! Never have an issue with them! Would recommend to new moms! And even to switch!

The parent unit hasn’t worked since the day we got it. The screen won’t turn off at all, we try to click the power button to turn the screen to power saving mode and it turns itself back on. There are some things about this monitor that are normal to the monitor but don’t make any sense for practicality. 1) the sound on the monitor is super quiet and you can’t hear your kid until they are crying very loudly. Then once they are crying very loudly the sound from the monitor because ear piercingly loud. 2) on the rare occasion that the monitor does go into power saving mode (I believe this is referred to as ‘vox’) the sound cuts off completely. 3) when the monitor is on the multi camera screen you can only hear from the camera that the blue box is around, so if your other child starts to cry you wouldn’t know unless you are watching the monitor all night. 4) the microphone on the monitor does now work to talk to my kids. These features are completely unpractical for a parent and there is no way that the people who made the settings for this monitor system were parents. We have had 4 different brands of monitors since having kids and this is the worst one we have purchased. Unfortunately due to having a colicky newborn we missed the return window and are stuck with the monitor. The only good thing about the monitor is the camera quality but that doesn’t mean much if you can’t hear your child. This monitor is not worth the money. I would not recommend this monitor to any parent.

At first I loved how clear the video was compared to my HelloBaby camera. But then I couldn’t hear a thing on the monitor! I had the volume all the way up and the camera was set up around 4ft from the bed. With the volume all the way up, I couldn’t not hear anything unless my ear was right up to the speaker on the monitor. With the monitor on my night stand there is no way I could hear anything unless it was a VERY loud noise. I might have a defective product? But then with the volume all the way up, the alarm alert setting is very loud on the monitor. It’s too bad because I really wanted to love this monitor.

I really like the mom cozy brand which is why i got this but we had barelt used it 6 months and everything stopped working. It was nice while it did work tho. Stopped picking up the baby crying as quickly as it did at first, like it would pick up her making any noise to she had to be screaming for it to pick up the noise. Connection was always fine tho. The temperature on screen stopped working after 2 months so it went from being mostly accurate to tellinf me it was 29° F in her room. The view was fine tho too. Again i like mom cozy brand but this monitor wasn't really worth it for only working for a few months.
