The pull string has gone, do you know where l can get a replacement?

I bought 3 mtrs of 5mm 'polypropylene Rope/corded braid' for £1.50. Works a treat. Amazon sell it as do any of the auction sites.

I bought this a year ago, just about to use the saw attachment for the first time. How do I attach the saw ?

Hold the blade pointing upwards and curving awawy from the pruner. There should be 3 small holes at the left hand side of the blade and at the bottom. Undo the wing nut and fit the middle of these 3 small holes over the screw. The next largest hole should fit over the steel dowel to provide stability. Then tighten the wing nut. Hope this helps.

what is the max reach from the ground for pruning

The Razorsharp is 8.5 ft fully extended. Take for eg a 6ft man with a 2ft reach then you have circa 16.5 ft reach.

I really need something for pruning a climbing rose approx 10 feet high. Is this tool ok for this type of job or is there a better alternative

Yes. I've pruned a rose climbing high into a tree - probably over 20 feet high! I removed the saw first as it tends to make the head of the tool a bit unwieldy as one reaches higher! I also found that holding the pull cord in one hand and the extending handle in the other, I could make sure the cord didn't tangle in the foliage or with itself. I guess that once late autumn has caused most leaves to drop, the tangling won't happen anyway :)
