⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable Cooling Power for Road Trips and Outdoor Adventures!
I’ve used several portable coolers and mini fridges over the years, but the SetPower 12V Refrigerator has exceeded my expectations in both performance and design. It’s compact yet surprisingly spacious — easily fits drinks, snacks, and even meal prep containers for long trips. The cooling efficiency is outstanding. It chilled my water bottles from room temperature to ice-cold in about 20 minutes. The compressor is whisper-quiet, and the temperature control is precise, letting me adjust settings easily from the digital panel or the smartphone app (a feature I didn’t know I needed until now!). I took it on a 3-day camping trip, powered by my portable power station, and it ran flawlessly without draining too much energy. The insulation keeps everything cold for hours, even after being unplugged. It’s built solidly — handles feel sturdy, and the lid closes with a satisfying seal that locks in the cold. Pros: ✅ Fast and efficient cooling performance ✅ Quiet, energy-saving compressor ✅ Bluetooth app control is intuitive and responsive ✅ Durable build and easy-to-clean interior ✅ Great for cars, RVs, and off-grid setups Cons: • Slightly heavier than expected when fully loaded, but that’s the tradeoff for quality insulation Overall, this SetPower fridge delivers premium performance at a reasonable price. Whether for road trips, van life, tailgating, or emergency backup cooling at home, it’s a dependable piece of gear. I can confidently recommend it to anyone who needs reliable refrigeration on the go.

Exceeds expectations
This cooler works as advertised. It's quick to reach 35 degrees for ice cold beverages, and not much longer to reach 0 degrees for ice cream and keeping frozen foods frozen. I use this cooler in my 4runner, using the 110v outlet, and really like that the cooler automatically powers on when I activate the outlet, so I don't have to press the power button on the cooler each time I start the vehicle.

Pros Cons
It works very well at staying cold as long as my car is operating and it does retain enough chill to keep my groceries cold but not frozen. I had hoped I could bring ice cream home from big box stores which are 30 miles each way for me, but it’s not quite robust enough for that and what I had truly hoped that it would build up enough battery power that it would stay on even if the car was turned off while I was parked and shopping between errands, but that’s not the case. It’s only active chilling if the car is running or it’s plugged into a wall. But at that it’s very good. So good buy but not perfect.

I need to stop listening to youtube reviewers I HATE THIS LUMP OF VOLCANIC HEAT
I need to stop listening to Youtube reviews. This is a very small (inside) 1 (SINGLE ZONE) refrigerator...OR it can be a SINGLE ZONE freezer. It is NOT a dual zone fridge freezer. and 21 quarts of what? exactly? This thing barely holds 1 quart of greek yogurt. I LOLOL at the 21 quarts unless they're somehow measuring quarts in soda cans. ENGLISH is not that complicated. I was going to return it but it's heavy for me to move so I kept it. Now I have a power sucking bohemouth "FREEZER" in my car. It empties my ecoflow river pro 2 in one day no matter how I futz around with the settings. Eco, turn it on, turn it off--this is not a power sipping fridge, it is a greedy #*&%#%. I am constantly looking for places to plug in so my food doesn't spoil. I have to recharge that ecoflow every single day. That's a different review. I don't like this, it's HUGE doesn't hold that much, and sucks the power like a tornado slurping up a lake. It works FINE if you keep it plugged into shore power. (speaking of power--the excoflow, WOW 3 ways to charge it--and the ONLY way that is in any way shape or form viable on a daily basis is finding some electric outlet to plug into. It charges at the speed of turtle on the 12v, even slower on solar (2 130w panels) it is just as worthless as the fridge. A match made in youtube adverts. If I had the money to drive around 2 hours a day just to charge that thing so my fridge can drain it dry while it's charging I'd be a millionaire, or need to be. I was FOOLED boy was I fooled. I had it plugged in in the house--easy connect, turn it down to eco, check the temp--this thing LOVES being in the house plugged in to the wall. IT HATES being in my car, hates the ecoflow, and hates keeping food frozen anywhere but the bottom layer. I do not like this, wish I had not bought it, had no choice but to keep it, stop believing youtubers reviewing products for money. I will keep hunting until I find one that doesn't weigh so much I can't even scoot it around in the car, and one that does what the adverts actually SAY it does--now on to review the POS Ecoflow river pro 2. Good for one thing and one thing only. Keeping the setpower running--mostly. Imagine having to have a dedicated power station for a fridge. Edit to add more HATE for this suckspower single zone at a time fridge that holds very little. I hate this. I cannot believe I bought this. I won't need a heated blanket when winter comes, this thing puts out enough heat along with the ecoflow river 2 pro I could fry eggs...and it is 95 out. I do NOT BELIEVE that there is anyone out west camping that is using this thing, I do not. The reviewers are all lying. It is poorly insulated, it should not feel cool on the outside, there should not be condensation on the outside, the COLD should be INSIDE. I keep a big giant bamboo pillow on top and open it as little as possible. I simply cannot keep it frozen not on MAX, not on eco, not on anything. The lowest I've been able to get it is at night and 28. This should be called the suckspower fridge OR freezer. I still can't figure out where the 21 quarts comes from. Perhaps water? I HATE that I wasted money on this thing. I miss my frozen blueberry and yogurt snack...mushy blueberries and frozen/refrozen/frozen yogurt. I am probably going to get some kind of food poisoning. I put a seltzer in the elevated "shelf' because I didn't want it to freeze, conversely I was HOPING it would be cold. It was not.

Good product for the price
Works great, just as described. One thing if you’re wiring in your vehicle is undersized like stated in the instructions the compressor might not kick in because it does not have the correct amount amperage giving you an error code.

Excellent Cooler Even In Brutal FL Heat
If anything changes I will update this review. We needed a way to keep products being sold at our roadside farm stand cool and dry. Started with piezoelectric cooling and solar for power. This was a poor choice because the power consumption is ridiculous and the cooling is marginal. I started researching 12v compressor coolers and they sound great. About 2/3 the power demand while running and about as close to zero when not. We only need power for cooling and for security cameras and 200ah of LIFEPO4 batteries and 200 watts of solar panels in north FL should be plenty for even several cloudy days with what this cooler draws. This 21 quart cooler started up and was down to 40 degrees in under 30 minutes in late June 95 degree heat. Wanting to see just how cold it would go I turned it down to -4 degrees. I didnt expect it to get there and I was right but it did manage to get down to 12 degrees and freeze the water filled ice containers in about 3 hours. We don't need freezing temps but its nice to know it has the reserve capacity to get that cold in blazing FL heat. Keeping farm fresh eggs and freeze dried candy cool won't be an issue. Battery consumption wise the solar panels stayed ahead of the cooler use with ease and ran overnight using only around 10% of capacity overnight. Piezoelectric cooling would use 150ah or 3/4 of the reserve power overnight. If it was cloudy or raining the next day there wouldn't have been enough to run another day. Build and finish is excellent. There is virtually zero noise when it's running. With a 3 year warranty on the compressor I feel confident this will last for the duration.

Good product, poor customer service
The cooler works well, used it on a cross country road trip. It kept our refreshments and food cold. Having said that the problem is the ice pack has a leak and the cooler needs wiped out every morning. When I contacted the company they explained condensation to me as if I was not smart enough to know the difference between that and a leak. After another email they acknowledged the defect and said they would have to get one shipped to me from their overseas supplier. That was 5 or 6 weeks ago and I haven’t received the replacement yet. To bad the service is poor because the product works.
