The lighting strip attaches to a standard 110volt adapter, which is included. The remote control dynamically controls the color and intensity of the strip of mini LED lights. A wide variety of colors are possible. The lights can fade, blink, alternate colors, strobe etc at a variety of speeds. The light strip can be cut to a specific length for specific spaces. The strip can be connected in series with additional strips to create a larger lighting system. The possible applications seem limitless. For the price, this is an extremely versatile and tech-savy addition to any home decor. Pairing this with an Alexa or similar voice controller, this low cost item could transform any space.

UPDATE: stopped working after about a month of extremely limited use. Would not buy again.Bright colors, wireless remote, 3M adhesive on the back to stick to things. These LEDs work well and look great! My only criticism would be the power adapter's connection to the LED strand is loose and needed to be glued so it wouldn't wiggle and lose connection but that's an easy fix. Would buy again.

Just plug it in and play!The remote doesn't work for far distance without have the antenna (which is attached to the power block) sticking out. I hide mine antenna on the ground, and not minding to aim in the corner to turn on the light, and tuck the remote under the gap between the arm rest and back support.Plenty of length for my use. Brightness is not to compare to Philip hues, but it is also way cheaper. It is great for ambient light.There is a jump/fade function that automatically switch the light color from red to green, to blue... and it will look just fine during Christmas time next to a tree.

The lights seem fine but it says u can cut it and then put some on something else which I did. The only problem is it only comes with one power thing that u plug the strip into and there is no way to power the strip that I cut off. I don’t know if it is suppose to come with at least one extra power thing but mine didn’t so now I’m going to have to somehow find a power thing just like that one which is gonna be really hard to do, also the instructions r really confusion

The price by far was the best selling point for this type of light set up. After shopping at Home Depot and Lowe’s and the best price for exact same length was $40 on sale. I went ahead and ordered this instead for $20. Lowe’s was selling the exact same thing for $69! Now don’t be fooled by the different boxes Lowe’s and Home Depot use. This is a common practice to re-box the exact same China made product to make it look better than it is. Walmart also had this light set but $33 was still more than I wanted to pay. After getting this light kit and take pictures of parts, they are the exact same remote and lights in the kits sold at local stores for up to 3 times the price. Works great and had no problems, the remote is a little week but as long as you have line of sight to light box it works across the house.

Works as advertised, but I was disappointed. The connection between the power supply and the lights is so loose the connecting cords will just fall apart from one another. You almost have to tape the connection together. Also, I was doing this for a closet light application, and although all of the colors are fun, they don't have anything remotely resembling nature or incandescent light. It's that bluish fluorescent looking "white" light or vivid colors... you can't blend or warm the white light color. Also, as some have noted, the remote has to be within about 12 inches of the controller work. Luckily I'm not looking to use the remote. I am glad that once you select a color, it remembers the last setting when you turn it off and on.

I love the colors and the detail of the remote. But within a day of using them, I have had several LEDs burn out. Overall I am not too upset. Just poor quality LEDs were used. Good LEDs last much much longer.

Very happy with my purchase.I put these under my bed frame and they came out very well.The tape it has is ok, but be sure to reinforce some areas with actual tape. I used gorilla tape.
