Comfy, Great sound, Good Price
I brought a pair of these upwards of 5 years ago and they had reached the end of their life. I'm a bit of a creature of habit, so I was very happy when I found out that they still sold them (or incredibly similar) all this time later. I listen to music on average around 5-6 hours a day on a mix of headphones, phone or speaker system and I've never had a problem with these headphones, which is clear from going back to them. I have to say though, a new pair was like breaking in leather shoes. The adjusters are stiffer and they aren't stretched or fitted to my head and the earpieces actually click back into place which is nice. The biggest shock was the 'pads' on the ears. On my old headphones, I'd worn them so often that they'd cracked and the foam had broken up so I replaced them with some spare ones my Dad had off of some expensive broken Sony Volvo headphones. I was so used to these more expensive ones that the little circle ones it comes with felt hard against my ears. But considering for at least 4 years I had the original ones, it couldn't have been that bad, I've just got used to better quality. Needless to say, I transferred my better ones over and now my headphones feel perfect. (It's really easy to switch them over if you want to) I also find the built-in mic works well and I use it when on online calls on my laptop or calling people on my mobile and I've never had an issue. For noise cancellation... I'm not sure? I listen to my music loud enough that I cut out the outside world anyway but they don't actively cancel noise like more expensive models. So, for the price they give good sound and fit and pack up small enough to fit in a small (phone-sized) handbag. I'd definitely recommend it for those looking for headphones without all the bells and whistles or on a budget. Hopefully, in another 5 years, they still make them and I can get another pair...

For the price it's great!
Son needed a pair of on/over ear headphones for school, and I'd prefer not lending him my expensive one so went for this cheap Sony one. For the price, these are a good pair. The build is all/most plastic including the folding mechanism so these certainly won't last as long as metal ones, but they are easily folded so as long as you don't fold/unfold very frequently, these will last a few years. Sound quality is not bad at all given the price, like similar priced headphones, base is heavy but a bit muddy, highs are not bright enough, mids seem to be OK, but nothing an equalizer won't improve. What I am surprised about is the fact that the sound quality of £15 headphones is more than good enough for casual listening if you don't compare with £300+ ones. For my son's usage, these already overkill (he probably just needs a pair that can make sound...). Overall a very happy buy, and for the price, it's great!

Good Quality & Price !
The headset is quite compact and comfetable on both years. The padding help keep the ears soft and pain free. Good quality sound and mic records recordings. Good for Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams & Online Conference Calls. Note: This is suitable for new sound cards that has a single jack for audio & mic. If you have an older jack that requires audio and mic seperately, this will not work fine, you will have to get a audio spliter, that will sonnect the sing;e jack and divide teh audio and mic streames seperately. But if you get a external USB sound adaptor, which has a single jack input, will help connect this via a USB port. Got this for my Raspbarry Pi device, but found that it does not have a proper audio input jack or built in sound card funtionality, ended up having to buy a USB audio adapter to use this on the Raspbury Pi in order to use Zoom, Skype & Microsoft Teams. Works perfectly and a comfertable fit on the years. Meterial seems to be of good quality pastic as well.

Good, light, foldable headphones. Good for travel.
Yes these headphones I bought. They are light, foldable, good for me in hospital. Compact. They are comfortable, a good size, adjustable head strap, that is good. Have not yet used the volume control or microphone. Very good sound and comfortable. Great for its price.

Good price point
I actually bought these for my mum to give my ageing dad as a present. I was nervous about the price-point, (mum's budget) wondering whether the quality would be adequate. But they were well-received and said to be much improvement over his old pair. It's a straightforward pair of headphones, without features like active noise cancellation or bluetooth: which is all that's needed for many purposes. Dad is listening mainly to voice recordings, and a little bit of music, and says they are perfect for his needs.

Ok for audio books
I bought these headphones for listening to audio books at night the quality for the price is good they are light weight and comfortable to wear what i did find however they were less impressive with music they sound dull and un intresting with little bass and detail also the noise cancelling for on ear heaphones is non exsistant i usually use the in ear but found they were becomming uncofortable to wear these are fine for audio books ok to.plug into laptop or tablet but for music not good i will stick to.my sehisiser for music In colcusion a good pair for the price but if you want them for music i would look else where and spend a little more

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE PRICE
(N.B. I have been using headphones of all sorts since discovering my dad's worn-out but very rugged 'phones back from his time in the RAF.) These very attractive Sony "on-ear" 'phones were delivered quickly and provide VERY good, detailed sound, especially for well under pounds - from records, CDs, proprietary music cassettes and my own "pre-Dolby" tapes of transportation made back in the 1960s/70s. The leads emerge direct from the base of the cups and could hence be a tad vulnerable to damage or pull-out, so I have deducted a star. The headband is not padded and may prove a tad uncomfortable to those of us with little or no "thatch", but this is also a minor gripe and very easily fixed!

Good price, great sound
And it's a headset, not headphones, so you can make phone calls too. Tried on a Motorola (Android) phone and my voice came through very well. Now my daughter has 'borrowed' it...

Great All Around
These were perfect for my application and a great all around value for $25! Not going to get some studio quality sound at that price point, but don't think that's what they're designed for. They fold flat, fit nicely in a computer bag for travel, have a good mic, sound great, are much more comfortable all day than ear buds and have all the same functionality. I have an iPhone 6 for my work phone and use them for hands free calls, the mic control on this does usual things (hang up, click thru songs, etc). I listen to music much of the day, plug them into my laptop for Video/Conf Calls, fold them up and take them around in my laptop bag. Exactly what I was looking for and for $25 very satisfied. Have been using them long hours/day for weeks now and no issues.
