These sardines never disappoint
Good, tasty sardines and a bit cheaper than Nuri. I don't like that the fact the can is so hard to open so for that I am giving 4 stars.

Great quality.
Absolutely great quality. I’ve tried different brands, but this one tops it all. The taste is amazing. It is light and contains big chunks of sardines. The olive oil is also great quality as well.

Great sardines as a reasonable price
I eat these every day for lunch and so buy they by the case on subscription. I highly recommend them.

The freshness from the can
These sardines taste better than any others that I’ve had. Less fishy- fresh.

need to improve
Sardine meat seems over cooked, a bit hard.

Recent Quality Decline, Still the Best on the Market
Older batches (best-by date around 2025) are pure perfection: The sardines are so tender that they practically melt in your mouth, and have a very savory, umami taste that makes you forget you are eating fish. Those were easily the best you could find on Amazon and 5/5. Newer batches (best-by date 2027) are noticeably different: The fish is much "firmer" and there is a more bitter and fishy aftertaste (somewhat reminiscent of fish sticks but without the breading). It looks like they changed something about the preparation method, and possibly use a different olive oil. They are still good and miles better than the competition, but not as good as they have once been. I do hope the manufacturer reverses this troubling change.

My Favorite Sardines
I love sardines, which are extremely healthy (not just for omega 3, but for B vitamins, Iron, Vitamin D, Calcium, and Magnesium) and help tremendously with bone health. They are also environmentally sustainable, even when wild caught, and fairly cheap. Matiz is my favorite brand of sardines: they are plump, firm, and simply taste better than other brands. They are not oversmoked (at least by my taste) and seem fresher in comparison. I buy a pack of 25 of these to eat regularly and do feel quite a bit better when I do. (Bonus: I sleep better, likely because of the magnesium.)

Expensive taste
Best sardines I have ever eaten hands down. The down side is they cost a fortune.

Excellent product. Best sardines we have had yet!

Interesting
No rancid oil taste like most have, though perhaps a hint of soap taste? Probably would have been much better with salt and pepper. A few very large sardines, but pleasant (as opposed to the weird insect-like ones from Brunswick)

Trop dispendieux
Je croyais avoir plus pour le montant suggéré!! Trop petite quantité (1 seule boîte de sardine 120gr) pour 13$.
