This Is The Last and Best Tin You Will Ever Buy
I've been a hobbyist bartender for a few years now, and decided it was finally time to toss out my no-name brand, Walmart 3 piece cobbler shaker and get something that fit my needs a bit better. I set out looking for a classy, high-volume Boston shaker, and the Pina Barware did not disappoint. Now, I'll say this: a cocktail is only as good as the man behind the bar. Having a fancy, expensive shaker isn't going to make great cocktails. That having been said, it is essential to have the right tools for the job; you can't fully integrate some drink ingredients without giving them a good shake to emulsify them and bring out their flavors. What sets the Pina apart is its quality and its price. My first shaker - and Lord, was that thing terrible - set me back around 15 dollars in store. The Pina, in contrast to my old shaker, is made if thick gauge stainless steal, it's easy to clean, and it both seals and unseals extremely easily. Not once have I had leakage during a shake, whether dry for a sour or on ice. All of that is well and good, but what makes this shaker excellent for me is the weighted tins. The bottom of each tin is weighted a significant amount with extra steel. This sounds superficial at first, but stick with me. The tin has a weight to it that just feels great in the hand, and it doesn't take much effort to shake a drink well. When placed down, the tin is much less likely to tip or fall due to the weight distribution. And, being the over-the-top host that I am, I can toss this thing around with easy and make it do what I want, whether I want to flip it in the air, toss it behind my back, or some other trickery for the sake of showmanship, when tossed it flies predictably and consistently. I could not ask for more in a tin. If I ever needed another, because I know this thing isn't breaking any time in the near or distant future, Pina would be my first, last, and only choice. I'm sold for life.

Excellent shaker, great seal, easy unlock, good materials and craftsmanship
This is the second boston shaker set Ive ever used. I’m a enthusiast level home bar tender. The previous shaker was one tin - one mixing glass variety that i had gotten so you can see the drink while its being mixed. First of all, I realize that the 2 steel tin shaker is inherently a vastly better affair - far better seal and unlocking is a breeze. With the glass-tin combo the seal is nowhere nearly as good and it shows when you try dry shaking egg whites. The 2 steel tin thing is like a rock! Tried shaking some warm water in it for grins and while the old shaker would spray things out, this one stayed sealed. Next this specific make: Pina. Very solid construction and finish. Both tins are weighted and while Ive read reviews that suggest one unweighted tin makes a better seal, i had no issues. The shaker feels solid in your hand, easy to lock, easy to unlock, and look s really good too. Well done Pina! It’s a pleasure to see good craftsmanship and the results speak for themselves. If youre looking for a Boston shaker set I recommend this without the least hesitation.

Excellent value - professional quality
This is my first Boston shaker, so I don't have much basis for comparison. That said, I'm very pleased with the quality of this item. These are not at all flimsy. Good solid thickness to the body of both tins, and the weighted bases give them a nice stability when filling and solidity and balance when shaking. The smaller tin seals perfectly to the larger with a slight tap, and I've had no problems with leakage even with vigorous shaking, something which is sometimes a problem with cobbler-style shakers. I did have some technique problems with separating the two halves after shaking, but I reached out to the maker for advice and Justin from Pina responded immediately with helpful tips. Great product and service; highly recommended for anyone looking to up their cocktail game. One of the few things I've bought where I honestly have no complaints or regrets.

Solid Boston Set
For reference, I’m a bartender in a small hometown bar with about a year’s experience. I ordered this tin set (as well as Piña’s hawthorne) for personal use, but I’ve found myself bringing it to work because it’s miles ahead of my equipment on hand there. -Sealing 9/10 -Release Seal 10/10 , doesn’t lock up on me -I guess this is heavier than most tins, but it doesn’t exhaust me, and I’m not a large/fit person. The weight feels nice in my hands. -Aesthetic 10/10 Clean finish, pretty bottom Very satisfied with what I got for the price

Perfect for home bartending
This stainless steel cocktail shaker has seriously elevated my at-home mixology game! It looks amazing—sleek, professional, and modern—and it feels solid and well-made in the hand. The seal is tight, so there’s no leaking while shaking, even with ice and vigorous mixing. I will say that sometimes it can be a little tricky to separate the top after shaking, but I’m pretty sure that’s user error (I might be over-chilling or sealing it too tightly). Once you get the hang of it, it’s really not a big deal.

Beautiful. Incredible Seal.
First off, the design is gorgeous. The logo on the bottom of the tins in really pretty so it looks nice to have sitting out on the counter instead of needing to tuck it away all of the time. I think it's an incredibly thoughtful design where the entire tin is large enough to get your hand in to the bottom to clean. It's a little thing, but it makes a world of difference. The sizes are great. I like how high the 18 sits in the 28. You can fit a lot in the tins without overflowing. If you need to crack the tins open either to add another ingredient or just to take a peak at what's going on there is no risk of the drink being higher than where the tins meet allowing for the tins to be resealed without any sort of juggling act. The weight was really nice. I think it's great when the tins can really do some damage to the ice, and these were perfect for that. My favorite part, though, is the seal. Holy shakers. My other tins pop open every time I dry shake a drink with egg white. These I locked pretty tight, dry shook some egg white and citrus, and it was still a beautiful seal. I would feel very confident shaking with one hand even with egg white. I couldn't overstate how happy I am with these. I would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome!
Wonderful shaker. Major step forward in my bar equipment. Doesn't leak when I shake it but still comes apart easily.
