Arrived as expected
This was bought for my son who has a Pajero and couldn’t get a manual in South Africa where he lives. He was delighted that I was able to get one for him from Amazon and we took it out with us. It arrived when it said it would so very satisfied.

Another useful book to keep in the boot.
In keeping with the rest of the Haynes range of car books this is very useful with sections covering every part of the Mitsubishi Shogun/Pajero from 1997 up to the last update in 2005. Highly recommended to always have handy to refer to before opening up the tool kit. The book arrived in the post a couple of days after ordering, so overall very pleased.

Shogun compatible
This was purchased for specific advice for a 1998 shogun and it is appropriate for that vehicle. Good value, well packaged and fast delivery. Would recommend.

Not my best buy1
I remember Haynes manuals from the early days and was suprised about the fairly poor quality of paper and printing. The right up does say it is for an Australian car but I thought I could make the translation to my model - not so easy as I had hoped but that could be that my model seems to be different from those in the manual.

Item delivered in reasonable time, fully as described, good service
Typical Haynes manual, unusual to find paperback version, which is actually better in my opinion, does not however have a very good section on bodywork trim, otherwise all as usual.

Mitsubishi Manual - Not as great as earlier versions, but worthwhile
The Mitsubishi Pajero - Montero manual is still detailed and will help many back yard mechanics. We bought it as the Haynes Manuals I've had in the past have been absolutely superb, and helped me get some basic ideas or been (more often) very usefull to mechanic friends who needed a reference guide. This one is just as usefull in that they take apart an entire car, with photographs, so finding what you're looking for is usually simple and well explained. Where this one falls down (just a little bit) is that it appears they took apart about a 2002 model, yet it "covers" 1997 to 2008 or so. If you've got an earlier or later generation style than the 2002 often the descriptions are accurate, but the actual location of the parts isn't.It also covers Gasoline and Diesel, yet they only seem to have taken apart one car - however the main engine descriptions and such I'm assured are very good, but where it looses something again is apparently in the details of the different engine generations and years. If you are unlucky and own a used one of these cars that's been back yard mechaniched, or a 1999-2004 model, this could be your perfect manual, for others it's certainly a great reference tool, but if you've got a new car, or know it's basically still in factory condition, it may be a better idea to buy the factory manuals if you need them.
