J.R. Watkins White Cream Liniment, 11 Ounce

Been using this for years. I am 77 years old as per this review. My mom used it on us kids, her & dad, when we had sore muscles. Still use it today. Stinks but it works & I'll keep using it. The benefits outweigh the smell.

I've been using Watkins White Cream Liniment for 35 years. It's always good for muscle aches and pains. It is very pricey for me nowadays, but it's still a great product.

Great stuff. Used to sell it as a home-based business with my parents back in the day when I was 30 years younger. So when I found it on here grabbed some of it and the white version. Both are good for their own uses. This one is good for putting on a sore area The red one is good for when soaking in a tub

Works good, good quality,easy to use and has a nice aroma, so you can rub and go or rub and stay. Glad that it is still available.

I love this stuff. I first started using it when my boyfriend got into a motorcycle accident and shattered bones in his foot. His foot was obviously in a lot of pain and he somehow found this stuff. We found that massaging it into his injured foot provided a ton of relief. My mom also had foot surgery and she said that 6 months after her surgery, she still felt aches and pains but with this liniment, it made it so much better. I also introduced it to a friend at my church who had a knee issue. He said he used a brace for it which made it better but after he tried the liniment, he was pleasantly surprised that he felt even more relief. I also use liniment on my sore muscles after a tough workout or after a long day of lifting things or if I sleep in a funny position and have a sore neck. It's amazing for sore muscles! Just lather it on, massage it in a tad and the sore muscles feel relief nearly instantly and the soreness does not come back unless you strain yourself again. Without the liniment, sometimes, I would be sore for a solid 2-3 days so it’s amazing to be able to rub this on and not be sore immediately. It's seriously a staple in my house now. I tell anyone I know if they complain about aches and pains. I've had to reorder this bottle a few times because I keep giving it away. This stuff looks creamy but it absorbs almost immediately and there isn't any residue. It's pretty cool. Just a quick note, if you have any open or recent cuts, do not get the liniment on it!! It will sting a ton!! Also, I will say it does smell and takes some getting used to. The other thing is at least in my case, it gives a bit of a cooling sensation.

Although the new formula has less offensive (to the people that don't like the smell...) smell than other liniments on the market, it doesn't quite work as well for my family as the original formula. Still worth a try tho'. I'm not quite sure when Watkins changed the formula, maybe late 2010 or early 2011. The "red" liniment J R Watkins Natural Pain Relieving Red Liniment - 11 Oz, 2 Pack has a more obvious smell, is harder to apply than this cream, but seems to work better. Every "body" is different tho, and what may not work for us, may indeed work better than what you are currently using.

tried this product goes on easy works for my pains, read a review that said they thought scent too strong I did not find it so

I had a small bottle that I bought nearly 10 yrs ago. I have these thick callouses on my heels that just get thicker and thicker. I've tried many things. I even bought a Dremel tool and shaved them off. I found the 80 grit sandpaper worked the best and I've worn it out completely. Now I can't find any of those little cylinders of sandpaper anywhere in that grit. The finer grits just put a nice shine on the callouses. They don't remove anything. But the Dremel only sanded them down. It wasn't a cure. So I thought I'd try this. The callouses are hard and dry but this is drying them out more, I think, because they are getting smaller and the deep cracks (at least .5 cm or just under a 1/4 in) that open up and bleed are shrinking and no longer bleed. The cracks are healing up. So far so good. Only time can tell how well this is going to work.

This will knock the snot out of a chest cold.. apply it, cover it with a flannel cloth and stay warn. It also works on joint pains, the trick is tho' you must keep it covered for it to work.
