The SM-A510F is the European version of the A5 2016 model. There is no "UK version" as such. You can check out the different model numbers at GSMArena.com If the seller is in an EU country other than the UK it will probably come with the language set to the home country (which you can change in "settings") and an EU two-pin plug (for which you can buy a UK three-pin adaptor).

does this have the option for using micro sd as a second sim slot?

This from the review of the A5 (2016) on GSMArena.com - "Our review unit is the Dual SIM variety. Do note that this is a hybrid slot, meaning you can put two cards at most - it can be two SIMs or SIM+microSD, but you can't have a micro SD if you're going to use the A5 as a dual-SIM phone. Note that there's a version of the phone, SM-510FD (Southeast Asia), where SIM1+microSD go on one tray and SIM2 is on a separate tray. That solves this issue, but not all Galaxy A5 (2016) dual-SIMs have two trays, so watch out." Put simply the European version (SM-A510F) can utilize two SIMS or one SIM plus a Micro SD card.
