works exactly as expected. Some reviews said it clogs up. I have yet to clean mine and it's been several months. I use it to dose Kalk+2. I have it hooked up to my Tunze ATO. The only issue is you are at the mercy of your evap rate which obviously change with temperature differentials during different seasons. I.E. in the winter you top off more than summer. As long as you know this, and test often, you'll be fine. My only complaint was not having the fitting supplied to attach a 1/4" ATO hose. I had to dig through my tool box to come up with something. I started off the hobby over 20 years ago reading Julian's books and watching his videos, so I trust the company and it did not let me down which is rare these days.

Don't put more than a cup of Kalk in it and make sure the pump isn't too strong. I had a 300 gph pump and my KH numbers would shoot way up when I added more Kalk. I finally figured out it was too much pressure. I put a ball valve on the line and reduced it by half. My KH stays perfect now. Great, simple device and easy to use.

Since it stirs while it's putting water in the tank it makes a massive cloud in the reactor and all that powder is dumped into my aquarium. Instead of just the saturated water. Plus the first time I took it apart to clean it. After putting it back together as soon as the pump came on all the rubber elbows blew off and won't stay on anymore. Less then a month old

This was a great product and just as described. I received this item right own , time and it was used just as they described..

Good but need to maintain it closely so that it works good.

Not the best, but for the price, works great.
