Hello. Thank you for your question. The cream does not come in manufacturer sealed box, and when you opening lid the jar is not manufacturer sealed also. It is a plastic jar, full of cream, with a plastic lid, comes is a brown cardboared box. I looked at the all stikers and labels on the jar. It does not exactly say "Made in...". The first number on the barcode starts with 3, what suppose to mean France, but next to it is a LOGO Unilever. I searched on internet, Unilever is a British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company. This is the all information I have. I hope my answer is helpful.

is this product for the face?

Yes it is. I have used this product for many years, having tried quite a few of the more expensive moisturisers beforehand. Ponds Extra Rich Dry Skin Cream is by far the best, although beauty products are very subjective.

Does this cream have an SPF rating?

I have checked on the jar I cannot find that on it .it says hypoallergenic,suitable for sensitive skin , dermatology tested. I wont use any other face cream but this one . It’s really good for dry skin
