This is without doubt a beautiful book, which provides clear detail to enable even a beginner to create stunning animal pom poms.Having bought the French version before this one was published, I have used it to springboard my own designs; Trikotri creates and inspires creation in others by providing the means to learn the basis of the art. Trikotri is simply a bye word for animal pom pom art.If you have the French version this does not appear to provide additional designs, despite the different number of animals stated, but some images are clearer.Tips for use: be generous with the wool, natural wool works better than man made does and be ruthless with the scissors. The most common beginner error is to be reluctant to cut, as it results in a less sculpted finished product.

Extraordinary results from such a simple starting point ... triggered purchase of wools in every colour. This book is a sweet shop of ideas and challenges - do take seriously the advice to buy 100% wool though - you cant felt acrylic for the finishing touches to nose etc

lovely book detailed photos. step by step on how to trim the pompoms. made some pompoms out of scrapes to practise with can make them smooth with no stick out strands but not yet tried sculpted the animal faces. the book shows you how with step by step pictures and writing on how to turn them has you go. 2019 first thing to have a go at new looking forwards to the challenge.

Was expecting them to be really hard to make and mine turn out looking nothing like the ones in the book. But was pleasantly surprised at how easy to follow instructions were and how well they turned out

Quick delivery. Amazing book.

I like the fact that this is something different. I haven't used it to make anything yet, but flicking through it looks a very usable and informative source for trying a different craft.
