This is high quality matcha with a mild sweet taste. You may not be able to taste much because it’s decaffeinated. I have even higher quality low-caffeine matcha I bought directly in Japan from Marukyu Koyamaen and that is better quality (in terms of the color) but I would say this caff off brand is the next best things for the US. I drink matcha through out the day (2-3g) to help with my ADHD because of l-theanine and EGCG content without the caffeine. The matcha makes me feel happy and productive without jitters or anxiety that caffeine gives. The only thing you have to watch out for is how it’s stored after opening and also consume it quickly within a month. I left the opened bag in my cupboard and the matcha spoiled. The powder turned from a nice spring green to a green yellow and the brew became bitter. Put your opened bag in the fridge! They sell two sizes and the larger size is more economical but if you cannot finish the bigger size within a month, it’s better to get the smaller size. Matcha spoils fast!

I knew it was a mistake, but I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, it has a very strong fishy taste, and I probably won't be able to finish the package, which is a waste of money.

Why am I giving this a 5 star? As someone who grew up drinking plenty of matcha in Hawaii, I later this year found out I had to cut out caffeine due to high blood pressure. I miss the warm feeling matcha gave me when I had a cup every once in awhile, and its been so long since I last had any sort of matcha... Until I came across this, and no I am not paid for sponsored by this company. The taste is there, tho you might just have to measure from your heart, if you crave matcha but cant have caffeine, this is it! The amount you receive isn't flattering, but they do offer discounts when you purchase these, the official website has discounts you can send to your email as I learned. So if you are desperate for a matcha fix like me, try this, add this to a hot cup of milk/oatmilk/soymilk & stir. The powder will dissolve, & you end up with a soothing cup of matcha that isn't bad at all. Its much better than Starbucks, thats for sure! I'm sorry this isn't the most flattering picture, my first sip made me inhale most of it, but you know that feeling when you find something thats taste decently close to matcha!

Best decaf matcha. Expensive but worth it.

Expensive for the small amount you get - I will say that. But, I am ordering again because regular matcha has WAY too much caffeine and it's nearly impossible to find decaf! Very smooth and good tasting though!

This is really tasty matcha tea. I was worried that it would not be very tasteful as it is caffeine free, but that is not the case. It is a little pricey, but still delicious. It makes a very smooth cup of hot Matcha tea latte.

I mean it’s good but the amount for the price is not worth it

I'm overjoyed to have discovered Caff Off Decaf Matcha! For someone who enjoys the flavor and health benefits of matcha but is sensitive to caffeine, this product is revolutionary. The best aspect is that I can enjoy it anytime of the day without worrying about getting jittery or staying up all night. It has a smooth, earthy flavor without the bitterness that normal matcha can occasionally have. I adore adding it to smoothies, lattes, and even baked goods. It provides me a calm, concentrated energy without the crash, mixes well, and feels good on my stomach. To anyone searching for a caffeine-free substitute that yet tastes great and feels nice, I heartily recommend it!

This green tea tastes great and is not overpowering . Love the fact that it’s decaffeinated too!

Disappointing.

It’s ok for a decaf one, but I don’t think I’ll purchase it again, especially considering the price. The color is on the grey side comparing to my regular matcha which gives a poor quality/ old product vibe to me (I could be wrong). I find the texture to be a bit floury, even when I use my matcha whisk. Finally, I’m glad I had my ancient jar so I could transfer the product in a more convenient container.

Bought this when my usual Domatcha Decaf was suddenly unavailable. The taste is nowhere near that of Domatcha, unfortunately. The colour is darker and the taste is quite bitter. I hope there is a higher quality decaf matcha powder option available soon.
