Just what I needed
Working great so far.

Bought 4 of these things and they are working and nice and cheap too.

Works with 802.11af or Type-C 5v Power
This is much smaller than other Media converters and can use power over ethernet. I tested it with some common cisco type 1.25G SFP modules as well Ciena and 1.25G BiDi modules from, Mikrotik and Ubiquiti and they all worked without complaint. They could have saved some cost by leaving out the 5V USB Type-A and Type-A to Type-C cable. The media converter worked well all the 1.25G modules I tested. I wish there was a way to get DMM data off the SFP modules but as with all media converter of this type you can't. Still, I've been looking for a small PoE powered media converter for a number of years and this one fits the bill. It's a great toolbag item if you work with fiber.
