Was looking for a low price high res monitor for the Ubuntu linux system as the fonts aren't as clear as windows no matter what you do. Works great, 10 point font at 200% scale perfectly clear and good size. Monitor is a bit wobbly, but it's OK. Color is great.

The white base with black screen edges looks modern and clean, definitely better than having white trim around the screen, which can look outdated.The screen is larger than I expected (in a good way), and it appears to be glare-free. I’ve been using the LG 27US500-W Ultrafine Monitor for a few weeks now, and it’s been fantastic. The 4K UHD resolution is incredibly sharp—text looks crisp, and colors are vibrant without being oversaturated. Out of the box, color accuracy was already very good, but after a quick calibration, it looked even better.The 27-inch screen size is the sweet spot for productivity—large enough for split-screen multitasking without taking up too much desk space. I mainly use it for photo editing, web browsing, and occasional Netflix, and everything looks clean and smooth. The IPS panel gives great viewing angles too, so there’s no color shifting when I move around.Build quality is solid and minimalistic, with thin bezels and a clean white finish that looks great on my desk. The stand is a little basic—only tilt adjustment, no height or swivel—but that’s easily solved with a VESA mount.Connectivity is straightforward with HDMI and DisplayPort options, and it works flawlessly with both my MacBook and PC.

I purchased two LG 27US500-W monitors this week, and overall I am very satisfied with the value.The monitors arrived very well protected, and installation was very easy. The stand only required three screws, although I do think the screws could have been designed for hand installation instead of requiring a screwdriver.The monitor offers very good value for the money. The resolution is excellent, and it includes two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort connector, and the power connection, which makes it flexible for most setups.My main complaint is the power adapter. The adapter has a very large head with a three-prong 110V plug. Because of its size, I cannot connect two monitors to the same outlet unless I use an extension cord or power strip. The large adapter head also prevents the desk from sitting flush against the wall when the outlet is directly behind it. In addition, the power cable is only about 4 ft long, so the outlet needs to be very close to the monitor.Another small issue is that the monitor menu switch is not clearly mentioned in the enclosed literature. I had to search online to find that the control button is located underneath the monitor in the center. This became an issue when I first connected the monitor to a hub that did not support 4K. The monitor displayed a warning, but I could not find the accept button. Fortunately, the warning disappeared after about 15 seconds.Overall, I give this monitor 4 stars. It has great resolution, easy installation, and strong value for the price. However, the power adapter design could be much better. I would recommend LG improve the adapter with a smaller plug, a longer cable, and possibly a USB-C connection in a future version.

I needed a monitor that would work with both my work computer (Dell laptop) and my personal computer (Mac Mini M4). I have my Mac Mini plugged into one of the two HDMI ports and my work computer's docking station plugged into the DisplayPort. I can seamlessly switch between the two by pressing the button at the bottom of the monitor and switching the display input, which made this instantly worth the purchase! Display quality is great and easily customizable, and the size of the monitor is perfect for me. I highly recommend using a monitor stand or something that can adjust the height, as the monitor can only tilt to adjust. Setup was easy and I had this monitor up and running in under five minutes.

99% of this LCD monitor is good quality and value. However, unless I got a defective model, the left and right sides / edges have almost like a "gallery wrapped canvas" effect to them that is very distracting. Look to the right or left and the last few pixels look like they are wrapping around the inside of the monitor like a player piano curl. But if you physically move your head directly over the far left or right and look at those portions head on the 3D wrapped effect goes away and it looks flat again.I tried different cables HDMI and DisplayPort and multiple machines and all of the options on the menu system and the "feature" doesn't go away.This monitor has a ton of very positive reviews and not one of them mentions anything about the sides or edges so hopefully I just got a lemon.If this issue is a one off or you can somehow enjoy the right left side behavior this is a good monitor. The stand is junk but you are also buying budget and they probably assume you are getting a VESA stand or arm to supplement it anyway. The stand and back of the monitor being white but the front of the screen not white is kind of odd. The display settings one button takes a little while to get used to but not terrible.I tried to take a photo but since its like a 3D effect it didn't translate to a jpg.

Excelente producto, calidad incomparable, llego en tiempo y forma, el único puntoencontra es que el monitor no hace una selección automatica de la fuente de imagen, es decir por un lado en el puerto HDMI conecte mi playstation y por el puerto DP puse la computadora, pero a la hora de encender cualquier equipo tengo que entrar a la configuración del monitor para seleccionar la fuente.
