Great quality projector
This is absolutely a projector that’s worth the price. The graphics are great and the brightness is perfect for dark or light environments, so I can use it at night or during the day with my blinds only half drawn. The auto key feature is a lifesaver since I don’t have the capability to mount the projector directly across from the wall, this allows me to have it at an angle from the corner on a shelf without having a skewed image. The machine powers up super quickly and while it does have its own apps, I prefer to use my chrome cast or would invest in a Roku attachment for a fuller range of apps and casting abilities. It’s very easy to use. The sound quality is good but for a real theater feel it’s worth connecting to a speaker - which it will do automatically after multiple times of connecting to the same one which is so convenient. I bought this in place of having a tv in my room and it was absolutely the right choice. I did a lot of comparison between projectors before buying and I’m so confident and happy with my selection. I tried out the cheap cheaper mini projectors but this one puts them all to shame and the budget projectors do not compare in any way. I would buy again and have recommended this to others.

Great for the price !
For the price. It has not disappointed. Sound is much better than I anticipated. It is so clear and can be watched during the day if the room is somewhat dark…we use it mostly inside but it also worked nicely outside. I have not figured out how to add other apps like Disney, Hulu etc

Great Mini Projector – Perfect for YouTube and Movie Nights!
I’m honestly very impressed with this projector. For the price, the picture quality is surprisingly clear and bright. I mainly use it to watch YouTube videos and movies, and the image looks sharp even on a large wall. Setting it up was super easy – it connected to my device quickly and started playing within minutes. The size is also a huge plus. It’s compact and lightweight, so I can move it from room to room or even use it for outdoor movie nights. The built-in speaker is decent, but you can also connect external speakers if you want a more cinematic sound. What I really like is how big the screen can get. Watching YouTube videos feels almost like having a small home theater. I’ve attached some photos and videos in my review so you can see the projection quality for yourself. Overall, this projector exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for an affordable projector for YouTube, movies, or casual home entertainment, this is definitely a great option. Highly recommended!

Great projector with some (major) flaws
Great projector with some flaws. The picture is bright. the sound is great. Great projector for the price. Now here's the bad parts... runs netflix and prime video flawlessly, however; if you want to use other apps this is where some annoyances really show. First off I cant even sign into hulu. It loads up the advertising screen (slowly) and when you click on "log in" it glitches out and shows a white screen with little else on it... so hulu is a no go... ok I can handle that... Other apps such as disney plus are annoying because the app has a cursor, as if you are using a mouse. I've never had a streaming app use a cursor before its very clunky and annoying. Also the apps have crashed out multiple times and there is nothing in the settings options to "manage apps". This is a standard feature now for almost every streaming device. So if there is a bug in the cache data you have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. Meaning you have to put your sign in information over and over again. This all being said I guess you can avoid all of that by plugging in an external firestick or other smart streaming device but that seems counter intuitive being this is a smart projector. The next and most major annoyance is the auto focus/keystone alignment feature which seems like a good idea in theory. A few things are flawed with this... it does not automatically zoom in so depending on how far away your projector is this will most likely fail and if it actually works the screen is still to big or small meaning you have to manually zoom it in or out... almost everytime I have to manually (in order focus, zoom, and 4 point keystone adjust) Ok fine I adjusted it... done right? No. Everytime you start the device it tries to auto focus and looses all the previous set up that I did before. This is extremely annoying and tedious. Not to mention there's a feture ( which you CAN turn off) that auto adjusts when you move or jar the projector itself. All that aside. I do like this projector. It was a good price. But the software could definitely use some updates. Honestly I would say 3.5 stars but you cant do half star reviews so ill put 4. I'll use it but probably be using a smart firestick which kinda sucks. I wanted an all in one package.

Great Picture, Better Sound Than Expected, and Super Easy to Use
Very easy to set up and use. I’m not very tech-savvy, but the whole setup process only took a few minutes. After plugging it in and connecting to WiFi, I was able to start streaming almost immediately. The interface is simple and responsive, so navigating between apps like Netflix and YouTube feels smooth and convenient. The picture quality honestly surprised me for a projector in this price range. The image is clear, bright, and sharp, especially when projecting around 100 inches on a white wall. Colors look natural and vibrant without being overly saturated, and the details are good enough that movies and shows look very enjoyable to watch. Even with a little ambient light in the room, the picture is still easy to see, which makes it practical for everyday use instead of only in a completely dark room. Another thing that impressed me was the built-in sound. I didn’t expect much from projector speakers, but the audio is actually quite good. The sound is clear and well balanced, with dialogue coming through very clearly, which is important when watching movies or TV shows. It also gets surprisingly loud and fills a medium-sized room without sounding distorted. For casual movie nights or YouTube videos, I don’t even feel the need to connect external speakers. Streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube run smoothly, and videos start quickly without noticeable lag. Overall, this projector delivers a really enjoyable big-screen experience at home. Considering the price, the combination of easy setup, solid picture quality, and better-than-expected sound makes it a great value. I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable home theater option.

They used a Bait and Switch strategy.
How ironic that they removed the "fully sealed optical engine" feature from the product listing. Makes me think they were intentionally lying. If you ask Google assistant, or A.I......it will tell you that the Alvar V800P (also marketed as the F505) has a fully sealed optical engine......but it DOES NOT mention that on the product listing, the box itself, or the user manual. And I feel like if it did......that is where it would be listed at. So now I feel like I bought a projector that I was blatantly lied to about it's actual feature(s). You will also find claims of 30W speakers, and other claims of 50W speakers (even though they are both the same exact product). So now, I honestly don't know what to believe. At first, I thought I received a fully sealed optical unit with 50W speakers unit for under $200......but now I think I bought a fully OPENED air path unit with 30W speakers for that same price. And that takes it from feeling like an amazing deal, to feeling like you got massively ripped off. I knew projector companies lied about lumen output....but to lie about the speakers, and also to claim a fully sealed optical engine one minute, and then completely exclude it the next......feels like a bait and switch tactic. And I am NOT okay with that!! If it indeed does have a fully sealed optical engine, they should probably mention that, or at least mention some sort of dust proofing. But never claim it, and then remove it...because that is indeed a Bait and Switch tactic, and the company should be held liable imo.

Great overall value
This is my first projector so I don’t have anything to compare to but this thing is amazing for the money. I wanted a reasonably priced projector that would allow to watch with light in the room since I want to use it for college football and use during the daytime. It is in my basement and as you can see in the pic with a fluorescent light directly above the screen it still plays fairly well. It’s a bit washed out but watchable. It looks amazing with the lights off or even with some light from behind the unit. I have yet to figure out how to adjust the picture settings like color and contrast (grayed out on the menu) but honestly haven’t needed to. Can’t add apps but I prefer to use my firestick anyway so that was never a bother when deciding to go with this unit. Sounds is great although I still want to add a soundbar or full surround setup. Fan is very quiet and can barely hear it with no sound playing. Overall I am very pleased with this unit. Time will tell how it holds up. But if you’re worried about the apps from the interface rather than using a streaming device you might need to look elsewhere which is the only negative about this unit.
