Is the blue a navy blue?

It’s brighter than navy blue. It looks pretty accurate to the picture may be a touch lighter brighter. But not like royal blue

I ordered a medium for my size 8/10 girl. She has about a 6 waist and these were loose but she needed the length. I would go with small for a true size 6.
