UPDATE: After looking at the pictures, we discovered that seller blatantly stole pictures of other items on Amazon and used and attached them to their item. Dropping to 1 star and returning. There are at least 3 different utensil holders pictured including one from Orblue Giant Spoon Rest.Original:Item is actually made of hard plastic. It looks like the item pictured and the carton even has a sticker that 'says' it is made of silicone. But it appears to be simple ABS plastic. This means that it cannot handle high heat and likely can't go in the dishwasher. The price we paid wasn't bad for an actual silicone item but for ABS plastic I wouldn't have paid any more than maybe $3. The construction quality looks similar to what you would see from a Dollar Store. It does hold our kitchen utensils however so we will keep it and use it for now.
