I bought these on the recommendation of my therapist as a way to redirect my skin-picking habit, and they’ve been surprisingly effective. Cons: ❌ Not ideal for the car — could be a little messy or distracting. ❌ Once you’ve “freed” all the beads, it’s done — more of a consumable than a long-term toy. Overall: If you’re a picker or fidgeter, this is a surprisingly helpful tool. It’s not flashy, but it works — and it’s oddly addictive in the best way. I keep mine at my desk, and it’s been a great aid for focus and stress relief.

This stuff is amazing! I actually plan to start making my own to save money. I struggle with skin picking and anxiety. This gives me that same satisfaction without the damage. The gel texture is oddly satisfying to bend, and picking out the little beads/charms keeps my hands busy and my mind calm. It even has that ASMR squishy, stretchy sounds when you bend it like slime just firmer. My 7 year old daughter loves playing with them too while making her own jewelry. The beads are small so obviously with close supervision. Highly recommend for anyone with a picking habit, anxiety, or who just loves sensory and fidget toys!

Honestly, I’m impressed with this. It was quite small but for the price I can’t complain. It had me engaged for a while. I worked on it off and on for the entire day. The silicone rubber was quite tough, but held the beads in well, even when stretched.

Beware, the size of the pad is exactly the length of the twitters. It is much smaller than the listing visuals imply. But it is a cool fidget toy.

I got these as a gift for my wife. At first she was mortified at the idea of them, and then she really got into it. It gave her something to do to keep her hands busy. Two of the four pieces seemed to have had an additional thin layer of silicone poured over the 'picking side' of them. This made it challenging to pick the beads out, however we were able to peel off the added thin layer. Sort of an annoyance, but overall it was a fun single-use toy.

Great buy for my child who struggles with picking their skin. Fulfills their urges without causing damage to their body. Will buy again as it’s a worthwhile investment.

Worked better than I thought. Very satisifying to use and has helped me when the plucking urge is strong. I keep it in a common drawer and my spouse sets it in front of me when she sees me plucking. Has helped me greatly.

I do not have an anxiety disorder but love this none the less. It's great to play with while waiting for a doctors or dentist's appointment, just make sure you've got a small zip bag for the fragments as you pull them out. It is a great tension reducing toy. I've bought some and am taking them on a car trip for my often bored kidlets.

These are very satisfying but a bit tougher than advertised. They are perfect for using when at home and find yourself starting to pick. I find they're a bit big to bring everywhere to truly be a replacement for skin picking, but I could definitely see a smaller, less conspicuous version that's easier to carry around working well. It would be really nice to have something you didn't necessarily have to look at to do. Say, in class, or when driving - places where you have to pay attention and can't really do anything else, but need something mindless to work on. My daughter has already gone through one of these, so as a word of warning, the silicone puck is very unsettling to look at once all the beads and glitter have been picked out. I wouldn't consider that a downside, it's just reminiscent of those trypophobia pics.

Incredible product for my skin picking daughter with adhd. Keeps her engaged and she can make something beautiful at the end.
