Elegant Packaging but Milder Than Expected
I finally had the chance to try the Mombasa Song variety. The packaging is elegant and gives the impression of a premium coffee, making it a nice option for gifting. I brewed it with my AeroPress and noticed some spicy notes in the flavor. While it’s enjoyable, I was expecting a bolder, smoother profile given the price. update: I ran this through an espresso pull with my Breville espresso machine. The coffee is much smoother as an americano. Its still a medium/light roast but flavors of toffee/butter with cherry/fruity after taste and some spice.
