please excuse my ignorance but from reading reviews it looks like this is not a complete package to test yourself? i.e. you need a machine too ? tx

Excellent but?
I have been using this for years. It’s an excellent piece of that gives you instant results. Please, The reason I have given it a four star is because the length of validity of the cassette as it runs out in 60 days once you’ve opened it and I think that’s a bit too short because there are people that who don’t use it every day … who need to take measurement every week. Expiry limit should be at least 90 days to 120 days rather than 50 or 60 days as it is currently.

Ensure hands are clean and dry before testing. Insert the Accu-Chek Mobile Blood Glucose Test Strip Cassette into the Accu-Chek Mobile meter. Follow the meter’s on-screen instructions to obtain a blood glucose reading. Apply a small drop of blood to the test area. Wait for the meter to display the result. Dispose of the used cassette according to local regulations after all tests are completed.

Keep out of reach of children. For in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not use if the cassette or the packaging is damaged. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
