Terrific product. Couldn't ask for better.
My wife's condition has had her progress from a cane to a walker, to a mobility scooter, and now a powered wheelchair. I did a lot of research before settling on this purchase and we are extremely happy with the wheelchair. 1. It is easy to fold and is lightweight. It goes into the back of our car very easily. We have flown it to Europe and used it on cruise ships, where it is narrow enough to fit through a standard cabin door. On a recent cruise we had to tender (use a small boat) ashore. With some crew help my wife was able to step onto the boat while I simply folded the wheelchair and carried in on with one hand. 2. Comes with two batteries with 11 miles each. I don't ever expect to walk alongside for 22 miles (!) but it would be possible. The batteries (a little larger than a book) can be recharged on or off the wheelchair, which is really handy. 3. The motors can easily be put into neutral for manual pushing where that is occasionally better (eg. gangway on a ship). Not all models can. 4. Extremely manoeuvrable - can turn on a dime, very handy it tight spaces such as elevators or between tables in a restaurant. Every one of the above benefits was difficult or impossible with her mobility scooter. 5. Reviews mentioned excellent customer service, and they are right. The wheelchair comes with a complimentary tool kit for on-the-go maintenance (wrenches, Allen keys). This was useful for tightening the armrests which became a little loose after bumpy sidewalks in Europe. I stupidly lost the kit, but upon asking Aotedor the cost of a replacement kit, they are very kindly sending one gratis. 6. The wheelchair is comfortable and looks great! Most wheelchairs are a dreary black, but the white paintwork is very cheerful. After 6 months and lots of travel it is durable and still looks like new. 7. Other models can be bought for much more money, but the features on this make it good value for money. Do your research but come back to Aotedor. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful Quality Chair
I’m not much in the habit of writing reviews, however this motorized wheelchair is totally amazing! I have mobility issues and love to go to the zoo, shopping out, out to eat, etc. and my poor husband has had the daunting task of pushing me in a regular wheelchair. Not only is this a lot of work for him, but I always feel guilty having him do this for me. I also don’t like having him behind me where we can’t talk or see each other. Well, my husband surprised me with this wheelchair and it’s like the Cadillac’s of all Wheelchairs!!! Not only is it so much more comfortable than a regular wheelchair, this chair gives me the freedom to go where I want, when I want, and it’s super easy to use! This chair also folds up extremely fast and is very easy to transport in the car, we just put it in the back of the car and off we go!! It’s super easy to take into the stores and maneuver around, I can also take it into a restaurant and not ever have to get out of it as It pulls right up to the table. This is a comfortable, smooth, easy chair to get around in and has no issues going through grass or gravel as the tires are larger and makes it easy no matter where you ride it! This has been life changing for me and is one amazing product. I’m sorry I didn’t get this years ago as it has given me the freedom to go out more and enjoy life so much more than before. I have rented scooters and they are so big and bulky and hard to get around in stores or over any bumps in the road or walkways. This chair is not like that at all. I highly recommend this chair for anyone with mobility issues that wants a safe, smooth and very comfortable way to get around and live life to the fullest! Thank you for such a great chair!

Great Chair - Even Better Service
"My mom spent considerable time researching and test-driving various electric scooters and wheelchairs before settling on this one, and we couldn't be happier with her choice. Despite visiting numerous showrooms and trying out dozens of models, it became clear that finding a device with all the desired features while still being portable was a challenge. However, this wheelchair ticks all the boxes: it's safe, comfortable, robust, equipped with a lithium battery, maneuvers effortlessly, and easily breaks down or folds to fit in the car. Since purchasing it, my mom has been using it to explore our neighborhood, visit walkway parks, go shopping, and navigate around the house. It's incredibly versatile and has significantly improved her overall outlook on mobility. While the wheelchair isn't the lightest, I find it manageable to lift in and out of the car, mainly because of its convenient folding and unfolding mechanism that can be done swiftly in one movement. The wheelchair arrived fully charged and provided ample usage before needing to be charged again. When we encountered an issue with the charger, the customer service team was incredibly responsive and professional. They promptly identified the problem and sent a replacement charger without any hassle. I recently reached out to them with another question, and once again, their response was quick and extremely helpful. Overall, this wheelchair has exceeded our expectations, not only in terms of its performance but also the outstanding customer service provided. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable and versatile mobility solution."

Great quality, long battery life, but heavy, clunky, and doesn't stay folded while transporting.
Please note: this is a review on a model purchased in 2023. I'll start off by saying that this is a very well made chair. I bought this for my elderly mom so she could join us on our numerous outdoor activities. The chair cusion is very comfortable and it's roomy for her. She can sit in the chair for hours and enjoy sporting events or other indoor/outdoor activities. It does the trick most of the time but the front wheels aren't big enough to make it over large protruding thresholds at door entrances/exits at some public facilities. I end up pushing/pulling my mom in manual mode more often than she uses the power mode. The chair is HEAVY so it doesn't make it very easy to transport. I lift heavy things on a daily basis and getting this thing in and out of my SUV isn't the easiest task, so someone smaller than me would have a really hard time. My main issue with the chair is that it doesn't lock in the folded position, so transporting/lifting the chair is more difficult because the chair easily unfolds and can be very frustrating. I'm either going to get a ratchet strap or make some sort of locking mechanism for it. For the price, I feel like a locking feature while folded should've been incorporated into the design of the chair. The batteries do last a long time and the chair can go long distances on one charge per battery. The dual batteries are a very nice touch. The joystick is very sensitive as well, so the operator has to be careful to not accidentally knock the joystick while the chair power is on which my mom has done several times. Overall it is a solid chair and very comfortable to sit in for hours, but for over $1,000 (I paid $1700 back in 2023) there could be better features including a folded locking mechanism and beefier front wheels.

***Update w/ Positive Outcome!!*** (Difficulty with support. Issues with batteries 1.5 years later.)
***Update with positive outcome*** My experience with Customer Support with Aotedor this time has been fantastic. I was able to speak to a live person and explained my issues. They asked that I send a video so that their Tech Support could review the problems I was having with wheelchair. They were able to text me and had the option to send the video directly via text or utilize a link to share my video, process was very easy. I heard back in a beyond reasonable time that they believe it may be the controller and though I outside the warranty window offered a new joystick/controller. This was very generous already but they also offered a 1/2 off discount on batteries if the issue turns out to be batteries. Everyone I have communicated with on the phone or via text has been clear, professional and kind. I admittedly was is despair as this was an expensive purchase for my family but I'm so pleased how the situation is turning out. I would recommend this company based off of this service. Original Review I waited to write my review as I wanted a fair time to experience it. I purchased this wheelchair in August 2023. It's compact enough, works well on flat ground, pulls on side slopes. The seating slants backwards but overall comfortable. My issue is longevity and customer support. The right battery began having issues in May 2024 but I didn't realize what was going on as the battery read full. By July 2024 it would die after 150 feet or so. Now the left battery has done the same though both say full charge without flashing or beeping to indicate an issue. I reached out the the company starting June or July of 2024 multiple times by multiple methods. They reached out once when I wasn't home and did not leave contact information for direct communication and did not hear from them again. If you purchase this it works well but realize it may have a limited life span. I suspect the battery life has ended but wanted to speak the the company to troubleshoot as the manual can not confirm this is the issue and I would like to avoid spending $800 in batteries (about $400 each the last time I looked) unless I could speak with customer service to confirm this is the issue.

Great wheelchair for the price!
Let me start by saying that I highly recommend this motorized wheelchair. I will try to give a clear detailed review in case it might help someone else make their decision. I understand that it's hard to spend this much money on something and the only thing you have to base your decision on is reviews from other people who have used the product. I didn't expect to need a wheelchair anytime soon, yet here I am. I had a catastrophic injury to my knee on a recent visit to NYC. After 2 days of cancelled flights, and a lot of pain, I finally made it back home. I could not put any weight on my right leg and wondered what in the world I was going to do. I'm not talented enough to use crutches and I found a walker put way too much weight on my hands and arms. I decided to rent a motorized wheelchair, for a week, from a local medical supply store. After a couple of days using it around the house, I realized that was the only way to go. I went online, read reviews, and bought this Aotedor motorized wheelchair. I could have bought the one that I rented for about twice the price of this Aotedor, and it was much more inconvenient because it had to be taken apart into four pieces to travel with it. I have since found out that I have to have surgery on my knee and will be non-weight bearing for eight weeks. This chair will be invaluable! Things I like about the chair… it folds quickly and easily and is one piece instead of multiple pieces to take apart. It is not any heavier than the one I rented that came apart in four pieces. But there is some weight to it. Obviously, I do not lift it since I am injured. My husband or my daughter are generally the ones that put it in the vehicle. The only complaint they have had is when you take it out of the vehicle it doesn't latch so it starts coming open as you try to lift it out. It is not an issue when you're putting it in but is more of an issue whenever you're taking it out. Otherwise, it is very quick to deal with as long as you're able-bodied enough to lift it. It has a tight turning radius, and I have very little issue driving it around in the house. The steering is smooth and easy. It has multiple power settings which makes it easy to use either inside or outside. I have used it outside on grass and I typically just set it on a higher speed setting. The arms have push buttons on the side so you can lift the arm to get in or out of the chair. This may be just me, but once the arm is up, I wish it could easily fold back down. I don't know how to explain it exactly but it's a little tricky. I push the button and then kind of push back and pull it forward. Definitely not that big of a deal, but worth mentioning. And once you realize how it works, it's not bad. I did find that the chair I had rented was easier to get into from the front than this one is. if you want to just back up and sit down in it from the front, the foot rest is in the way. If you fold the footrest up, it doesn't fold all the way back under the seat cushion so it is in a position that it scratches your legs and is uncomfortable. Basically, it is just awkward to try and get in the chair from the front. But I suppose more people than not lift the arm and get in from the side. The foot rest is also in an awkward position if you want to just stop the chair and stand up to do anything for a moment before sitting back down. Those are the only two minor inconveniences I found with the chair. Everything else so far has been an absolute positive. Nothing is going to be 100% perfect whether that be a car, a phone, a camera, or whatever. But for the money, in my opinion, this chair is a no-brainer. It is definitely worth it for the freedom it allows. I am not used to just sitting or laying around and this chair has allowed me to still go places and do the things that I want to do. it seems to be built well, so I am expecting it to provide good service for a long time to come.

Great Chair
OMG!! this chair is awesome! Was really one piece assembly. Seems well made and easily folds up to put in the car. My sister likes the size and the comfort. It can be electrical or manual, and the manual pushing is so easy. It really has been a life saver for us! Made well and the design of this chair is great. The arm rest raise up which is nice when at a restaurant to scoot under the table. Came with two batteries, which is nice. Charge both and keep one with us in case we do more then planned. Just an FYI, charge both the battery and the hand stick!!! Great little chair for the price!!!

Lightweight, Foldable and Easy to use!
This wheelchair was light, fairly easy to fold, and very responsive to the touch. I can easily go into restaurants, stores, along sidewalks, around the neighborhood and into the dialysis clinic. It saves my husband from having to push me. He is able to lift it and fit it into our Chevy Malibu with no trouble, so it grants us much more freedom to go places. The only issues I personally found with this wheelchair were that the 7” front wheels couldn’t make the transition over the patio door threshold. I have to back out each time if I want to go out back, even with a ramp. However, we have four foot and three foot ramps that work just fine going out the front door and into the garage, so it is just that patio doors, but when I back down it, no problem, and I can go forward up the ramp to the house, so just a glitch in going out over that threshold. In addition, for me personally, when folded up, the footrest, at my height and build and with braces, pinched the back of my legs between the footrest and my AFOs. This could just entirely be because of my short stature. All in all, this is a very good, lightweight wheelchair that will give you the freedom you need to get out of the house and out to restaurants, stores, or visiting family and friends.
