HaywardFDXLFHA1930 FD Header Assembly Replacement for Hayward Universal H-Series Low Nox Pool Heater

old one cracked over the winter. This was a perfect replacement and went on easy.Be very careful with the flow sensor wires as they are connected rather flimsy to be honest and easy to break off. I reused the existing sensor as the wires were much more sturdy. All in all, its a good replacement part.

Exact fit for Hayward heater. Replacement part for leaking unit. Part came with new O rings and everything on the header assembly. Easily installed with directions included.

The media could not be loaded. Very satisfied with this piece. Instructions were easy, and the extraction and replacement took an hour! My old temperature sensor went out, I replaced it, (first pic) but in doing so fractured the old piece so a full replacement was needed. I bought the new sensor due to a LO code, but the real issue was low water pressure due to a dirty DE filter!!!!!! This replacement part is an exact fit, and I feel like the 3k heater is working like new! I have replaced the main board and the display last year.

Pool supplies stores sell a seal and gasket lubricant called Magic lube. Make sure to pick one up, as it is nearly impossible to make the manifold fit on those O-rings without it. Other than that, all needed parts were in the packaging, and the manifold was in good condition.

I finally got around to changing the header assembly--I was out of commission for a while due to health issues. No wonder this item was returned before. O-rings the wrong size, and when I finally got it mounted it had two hairline cracks near the bypass cartridge. My old manifold just dripped from the union that connects to the water in and out supply lines; this one sprays from the manifold body itself!Missed the return date by a week or so. Not a happy camper.
