Hoop-La 14401.010 Embroidery Hoop, 10-Inch, Assorted Colors

Nice and sturdy. Can't beat the price. Holds nice and tightly. Fabric doesn't slip, and the screw tightens really well. I will probably be ordering more of these in different sizes.

I am using this hoop for creating a cross stitch sampler. It is working exactly as desired.

The teeth aren’t strong. my fabric slipped almost as soon as I tightened up the handle.

I would prefer to have the spring tension hoops but I can't find them past 7 inches. This type of hoop is a bit difficult to work with but I'm getting used to it. And I have some difficulties getting it tight enough (which is why I prefer the spring action) and the fabric can slip.

What can I say about a plastic hoop.....actually, its pretty sturdy. I have purchased others that have not been so great and I love the ability to tighten the screw on the top. Overall good product. Does not work as well at keeping stiffer, thicker fabrics taut but good for your average fabrics that are used for cross stitching.

I love these hooks so much that I was even willing to not make a stink about one of them missing a screw. They hold the fabric well and I am not worried about them breaking. I actually used them to hold fabric that was a bit thicker than the normal embroidery fabric and it worked fabulously. Highly recommend them.

Should have invested in a proper wooden one. Not worth it.I ended up not using this and bought another one that is wooden/ bamboo.Hard to put on and to keep it in place.
