I see online some issues with this build, and I feel this must be from younger generations as the end product is very consistent with G1 Bumblebee. The build process is really fun and the transforming aspect works well. It's frequently on discount and I feel it holds up well, especially next to Optimus Prime. It's a great display piece, and for those looking for a more Michael Bay looking Bumblebee, there are MOCs online you can build from these pieces.

Just a nice build

Really cool, transforming it is not that easy though so it also feels like it could shatter apart. The optimus model looks like a better one for transforming, I assume thats because B has so many curves it's harder to get a straight forward transformation. Still really awesome to have on the shelf.

It was a slight challenge to build, but fun. Excellent quality as always by Lego. Clever way of transforming from a car to a robot. It did fall apart the first time I did it, but with practice it became easier! Nice colour, nostalgic. I got it because it was in the sale, so it was great value.

By far one of the best lego sets my son has. So worth the money.

Se come me sei cresciuto con il cartone animato originale dei Transformers, questo set è un must. Ho appena finito di montare il LEGO Icons Bumblebee e, nonostante qualche piccolo difetto, l'emozione di vederlo prendere forma è stata fortissima. Cosa mi è piaciuto: La costruzione è divertente e scorrevole, circa 950 pezzi che si assemblano in un paio d'ore. Il risultato finale è stupendo: la forma a Maggiolino Volkswagen è iconica e i dettagli gialli e neri sono perfetti. Anche la modalità robot ha un bell'aspetto, specialmente con il blaster in mano. Il fatto che non ci siano adesivi (tutto è stampato) è un enorme plus per la qualità. Il "dolente" tasto: Devo essere onesto: la trasformazione è un po' un incubo. Non fraintendetemi, l'ingegneria è impressionante, ma alcune parti sembrano sul punto di rompersi quando le pieghi. Ho avuto il fiato sospeso più di una volta temendo di staccare un pezzo a forza. Una volta trasformata, la modalità robot è anche un po' meno articolata di Optimus Prime o del nuovo Soundwave (le gambe si muovono poco), e bisogna fare attenzione a come lo si posa perché tende a essere instabile. In sintesi: È un modello da esposizione fantastico che fa la sua figura sulla scrivania accanto ad Optimus. Se lo tratti con cura e non lo trasformi dieci volte al giorno, ti darà grandi soddisfazioni. Forse non è perfetto come ingegneria rispetto ai modelli successivi, ma il fascino di Bumblebee rimane intatto. Consigliato ai fan storici, ma procedete con delicatezza durante la trasformazione!
