Amazed! Really enjoying it
Well, I've been enjoying my new cajon for a few weeks now - it's the first one I've actually owned. (borrowed/tried a couple previously) First impressions - seemed a bit 'lightweight' but is sturdily constructed nevertheless and being light in weight is all the better for toting around. Carry bag likewise, but serves the purpose for carrying with ease and protecting from surface scratches and light knocks; obviously a padded bag would be preferable but included in the purchase price so really can't complain :) Love the vaguely Art Deco look (very 'me') and it is certainly eye-catching. It gets attention wherever I play it. Playing-wise it seems to have an incredible repertoire of sounds with great 'bass' and top end. Even the non-tapas surfaces are 'playable' too, including the top! The internal stringing gives a decent enough 'snare' effect. I have played it at open mics both acoustically and miked up and it has plenty of volume. All in all a very happy and satisfying purchase at a bargain basement price. Please note: the opinions expressed here are based on my own limited experience, however a friend (who is a professional drummer) is so impressed with it (envious) he is ordering one!!!

Awesome instrument
awesome instrument, I love it, kids love it, so easy to use, move and store, Wife hates how loud I can get it and as a first time user I didn't quite realise just how well it can sound and how different it can sound depending on where in the room you put it and what type of room you put it in, kitchen sounds awesome but beach is also cool, recommended to a couple of drummer friends who have rigidly stuck with the full kit, they are mega impressed too, and for how cheap you can buy one, the quality is second to none.

Versatile
My wife wanted a drum kit. Not exactly practical in our house. So I got her this beautiful cajon instead. It's brilliant. It makes a noise. You can sit on it. It's a coffee table when not in use. I'm guessing we could even use it as a bird box on the side of the house. It's that good. We are really pleased with our bird box / cajon. Brilliant value. Highly recommended and so versatile

It was missing parts and instructions weren't clear, good fun though!
So this is an interesting one. I read the description and thought there was a snare inside? Apparently not but there is a hook? What for, who knows and I tried to look! It was missing an Allen key, the seller never got back to me. I don't even know why you'd need an Allen key as there is no place to use it and trust me I have looked. Apart from that, we have it as for family percussion as we are all musical. Its sturdy to sit on and doesn't wobble. The instruction book isn't bad but could be better. The packaging was great and there is obviously no assembly. I just wish they would make it clear about the snare and what the hook inside is for?

Un sound bello profondo sulle basse e risonante sulle alte!
Vi do un mio parere.
