They are nice, good for gifting in a party bag, tips are fine and writing with them is good.

The pens are long and thin. The characters on the top are cute and unique. The nibs have a little cover on which I've never seen before and I think this is to stop the ink drying out. They do feel quite cheap so (in my extensive experience as a stationary fan) I think the ink is the type that won't last that long if you leave the lid off! The bright colours and animals on top imply that they are for children, but I would say they are more suitable for teens or adults because of the very small parts. Lots in a pack though so will last a while!

These pens arrived in a plain cardboard box in two separate cellophane bags, each containing 12 pens. At first glance they look a bit like felt tip pens, thanks to the solid coloured plastic barrels, but they are fine liners with very delicate nibs. The nibs have a plastic/rubber stopper, to prevent any leakage, which needs to be removed before use. The toppers are a wide mix of characters which would be suitable for either gender. There are a couple of recognisable characters but most are fairly generic. I'm rather taken by the Mexican - the perfect pen for my forthcoming autumn term, as Mexico/Day of the Dead is out first subject of the new school year. The ink is black and takes a while to dry but flows well. In view of the high smudge likelihood these wouldn't be suitable for young writers. At £9.99, at time of review, I think they're great value and will be ideal for end of term goodie bags

These are really fun pens. Love all the different designs and colours. Would be great for party bags. Really good value for money.

The pens were long and thin ,18cm . At the end they had a lid similar to a felt pen. The lid pulls off and clicks closed when pushed back on. This presumably stops the pens from drying out which is great. On the nib of the pens is a tiny rubber stopper that you have to pull off in order to get the pen to write. The pen nib is very fine which makes the pens not appropriate for younger children. The rubber toppers on the pen are fun cartoon characters . Images included monsters, seahorses, kittens, whales and people amongst some of them. The toppers can be pulled off. Looking inside I can see that the ink cartridge is quite a bit shorter than the Pen itself, ( more like 12 cm. ) . The pen would make a great gift for parties or for school friends at Christmas. Because of the nib size I would only recommend them for children over 10.

A set of long, thin pens with animal toppers. Very colourful and pens work fine (ink is black). Highly recommended to anyone looking for kids party gifts.

Really fun pens that all work - yay! These will make fantastic stocking fillers for the family in a few months' time!

Had to return. 5 of the pens were Christmas themed and 7 were hello kitty and very girly. Couldn’t use for unisex party bags.
