Great quality, great taste.
Flavour is the best by far of all Oliver oils on the market, the value for money was about right for its quality but won’t be buying this product again because of the increase in price that was massive.

Perfect, not bitter olive oil!
I love olive oil and use it for tons of things, but lately, I’ve become really aware of any bitter notes. I’m not sure if my taste buds changed or what the hell happened, but suddenly I stopped using olive oil because every brand I tried was so bitter that it ruined my meal. I tried the light kind, and while it wasn’t bitter, it had no olive oil flavor that I love. I went on the hunt for a new olive oil to try, and reviews on this one said it’s flavorful and not bitter, so I gave it a try. My new fave! It’s exactly that! It tastes like smooth, delicious olive oil with no bitterness to pucker my face. I just had a caprese sandwich with it and the flavor profile was perfect. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something not overpowering but still has some flavor to it.

The Right Stuff
"If you picked up the New York Times yesterday, you may have learned an alarming fact from an entertaining graphic in the Sunday Review section. “Extra Virgin Suicide” by Nicholas Blechman—which has been deftly GIF-ified on the Times website—explains the problem with extra-virgin olive oil made in Italy: Most of it is neither extra-virgin nor made in Italy. Instead, Spanish and North African olive oil is shipped to Italy, cut with soybean oil and beta carotene, and nefariously mislabeled. “The ‘olive oil’ is shipped around the world, to countries like the U.S., where approximately 69 percent of the olive oil for sale is doctored,” writes Blechman." Slate One of the few olive oils recommended by Tom Mueller, who wrote the definitive article on olive oil is 'California Extra Virgin Olive Oil'. Most of the other olive oils out there come from other countries, are sent to Italy where they are fortified with soybean oil and beta carotene. No wonder the taste is rarefied. Count your lucky stars you can find this wonderful olive oil on Amazon. The rest of the olive oils on the list I did not recognize, so I assume my local grocery stores and food COOP's do not carry them. This olive oil is light, and tastes like olives. Check the label to make sure you have the right stuff. Highly Recommended. prisrob 01-27-14

Excellent EV Olive Oil
First of all, let me assure one and all that the seller of this product is truly amazing. The bottles arrived surprising quickly following my order, along with a nice thank you note. The bottles were bubble wrapped to the Nth degree - packaged as securely as humanly possible. It was very obvious that the seller truly cares about this product, AND customer satisfaction. The oil? Green colored. Fresh tasting. Rich and slightly peppery. Probably the best EV olive oil that I have used to date. This is a good "finishing oil," perfect for salad vinegarettes and pasta dishes. These are big bottles, so they will take a while to use. I plan to reorder this olive oil in the future. I highly recommend this fine quality product and extraordinary seller. Update, 6/10/2013. One bottle gone. I remain very satisfied with this fine product. I use it for all my cooking needs. Sometimes, I add a little butter to increase the flavor profile. I occasionally add rosemary to the oil in the pan, to enhance the flavor of my sautéed potatoes, pork chops, etc. When the remaining bottle is gone, I will definitely reorder this product. Recommended.

The bottle was green and the olive oil tasted like olive oil
It's hard to review a bottle of olive oil. What can you say? The bottle was green and the olive oil tasted like olive oil? I did a bit of online research on olive oil before buying this and it gets a rather good review, which I didn't expect from a bottler in California. I was surprised in doing that little study to find that many of the more expensive European oils are blends from all over the place -- Spain, Italy, Greece. Beria and Pompeii and the like we can dismiss out of hand. But this particular oil was bottled on the estate from a single crop in a single year, like a good wine. I haven't used much of it yet but I did notice that when heated it didn't smell quite as "fruity", for want of a more refined word, as some others I've used. But -- no complaints.
