My fave night time skin product
I LOVE this stuff! I NEVER post reviews so please take my rec and buy the cream!Pros: AMAZING skin texture, it’s helping out my hyperpigmentation and melasma, and keeping breakouts down. When used right, super comfortable to sleep in. I wake up with the plumpest, glowing skin and after a wash and sunscreen, I’m ready for the day! I have sensitive skin and this product does not irritate my skin if used correctly (see tips).Cons: It doesn’t smell that great but not at all bad. It smells like how Vaseline smells but different. It’s also thick but don’t be tempted to use more (see tips).Tips/Advice:1. It WILL itch if you use a lot. Made that mistake one night and washed it off my face within 5 minutes. PEA SIZED AMOUNT or LESS, please heed my warning! It will spread out just fine with the warmth of your face but again, less is more with this product (and will stretch your dollars farther)!2. Don’t use it on a wet face as water, water-based products, and liquid products will make it itch/sting/tingle (this is my experience at least). I use it just before I’m ready to go to bed (it stays on my nightstand) and I apply a little bit before I go to sleep. This is so any products I use at night have time to dry down on my face. It’s my last step in my night time routine. Make sure you wash it off in the morning and USE SUNSCREEN!3. Build up to using it more often. I can comfortably now use it every other night but it took me a whole month to get to a point where I wasn’t worried about any reactions. (I only had one reaction tho and that was my own fault.) With any new skincare product, you SHOULD let your skin acclimate to the ingredients and formulas. This product is definitely controversial in the reviews but don’t let it scare you. Just take the precaution and build up your tolerance for it before wearing it every single night off the bat. It’s really concentrated so again, take your time and only use a pea-sized amount or less. I’m talking a small pea too, or like the size of a peppercorn!Hope this is helpful. I will update with a “before and after” after more time using. I’ve been using it for a month and have already noticed phenomenal difference in my skin. Give it time, build up to using it more often, and wear your sunscreen. I REPEAT, WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN.

Learning curve to this cream. Worth every penny!
This works great!! Just give it a month. A few things you should know about this before trying and quitting using it. You have to use this on a completely dry face. It can sting otherwise. I wash, moisturize, then get ready for bed and about 5 min later put it on. I will be honest, it’s sticky like Vaseline and the smell is slightly off putting. Start slow. At first use it once a week for a few weeks, then two for a few more, then work your way up to more. No more than once every 2/3 days. I have decently sensitive skin and doing it that way caused no pain or tingles. I noticed a small change after one use, but after a few months I feel I’m aging backwards. I’m 47 and have been starting to notice old face skin things, but this has made me look and feel like I’m aging backwards. My skin has turned soooo soft and it’s only been 2 months! It’s expensive now but it lasts for months, so really it’s only about $10/month to make such a difference. We spend that much on a coffee or a cocktail and they do nothing for us! I’m not one who freaks out or does much for anti aging but decided to try this. It’s effective and way cheaper than Botox or surgery. Not that i would ever consider those. Just eat good for you foods, get outside, exercise a bit, smile some, and use this cream! You’ll be young “forever”!

10/10, but do your research
its been 4 weeks using this product. i introduced it into my routine as i would with any other retinol/retinoid product. i decided to switch to this as other products were just too harsh. mid 20's and sensitive skin w/ rosacea. ive found this to work best and feel the most comfortable rotating with other products through the week. i do NOT use this within 24-48 hours after more involved exfoliation. ive been less sensitive to the product when mixed with moisturizer- which is advised on the packaging instructions. i also have slight milia on my chin. i have noticed it does irritate my slight rosacea, but is gone by morning. it hasnt improved or worsened, but i also rotate other products through the week for different problems (one of which being my rosacea). my milia & hormonal acne is significantly improved, but i cant report on texture as i dont have notable fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, etc. mixing with a thick moisturizer works best for me with dry skin & too "watery" or gel consistency gives a slight tingle. nothing painful or unbearable, just something to note.

I don't know what I was expecting
It's fine. I bought it because of all the hype on tiktok to take on my newly aging face and I did start using it slowly as I was very aware of the potential for a reaction I did not have a reaction thankfully I was able to mix it with a regular face lotion to avoid that and increase the amount that I used overtime. I didn't really notice a difference other than my face being much more moisturized and I don't know if that's because this is made with like a petroleum base I actually didn't look before I started this review but it does lend itself to Great moisturization and did not affect my makeup or anything else. I stopped using it because I just wasn't seeing a lot of results but I'm starting to think that skin care in regards to anti-aging is a huge hoax. What are you doing in here anyway it's fine it works as far as it goes on your face.

Girl 😭😭😭
Okay, so I’ve wanted to try this cream for a while (found on TikTok), was finally able to get it. I’m not gon lie… I did experience the burning, BUT I burned when I actually washed my face and applied. The first night I tried it, I was so tired I didn’t even wash my face before applying, I still wanted to see if it would work. That night, it didn’t burn, I went straight to sleep. But the night I actually did my wash routine (which is acne foam wash, it’s salicylic acid. Then I follow up with an acne solution gel, I think it’s like 10% benz. peroxide in it.. I’m sure those products all together (including the A313) caused the burning), I put some on.. it didn’t start burning right away.. but when it did, it wasn’t really a subtle burn, the discomfort level was like a 6 or 7. If it was a 5 or 4, I would’ve went to sleep faster, I’m no stranger to a little facial burning 💀 but this… I was so worried that I got up, soaked a towel in freezing cold water and pat my face. I wanted to wash it again, but I didn’t want to use anymore product annddd I didn’t want to cause anymore friction. After that, I rubbed my face with a block of ice, AND I applied Vaseline, thinking it would help soothe me… it did not. 🙂↔️🙂↔️ I was so scared! I was going to just wash my whole face in cold water to get all the product off, because I know chemical burns actually happen!! However, I convinced myself to just go to sleep. Now, I’m not saying if it’s burning it’s working; do be vigilant.. BUT, I woke up the next morning with WAY LESS texture and spots than I went to sleep with. To prepare for the day, I pat my face with a cold towel and applied my sunscreen, I definitely will continue to use this cream until my problem areas are gone fully. I didn’t think to take a picture because I was SCARED ASF THAT MY FACE WAS GOING TO BURN OFF, but it did not. ✨💅🏽 ✨The cream is worth a try, just watch what you’re using with the cream, you might want to stop the chemicals and acids while you try this. I want to rate this product 5 stars because my skin looked amazing the next day and I didn’t burn before.. so it must’ve been something I did. To be clear, I don’t have devastating hyperpigmentation.. just spots from picking and popping acne 🙄 but these spots are STUBBORN. I think what I’ll do differently next time is either completely tackle one problem at a time (get rid of acne, then focus on hyperpigmentation), or just use my acne wash in the morning and continue to A313 at night, like the product suggests. Will update about any future burning after I change routine around.

Awful
This stuff is horrible. It makes your skin itch and feel like you have creepy crawlies on your face. If you leave it on, thinking, "Oh, cool that it's working," it will give you nightmares, and you will wake up frustrated and irritated. Do not buy this product, Robt. Believe the FB, Instagram, and TikTok ads showing zero eomsn with beautiful skin. She did not get it using this cream. I tried it with the second cream she advertises it with, thatv7ool longer to get from France. The effects of this product seep through your skin, and you still get irritation, creepy, cranky skin, and nightmares. I honestly think the person should be vented for making false claims, and I want my money back. I have not tried in any way to achieve that objective except for this accurate bad review. I asked my daughter and my neighbor to try it. I didn't tell them I was happy; I wanted a genuine reaction and review to make sure I wasn't exaggerating my bad experience. Neither of them was left in their skin longer than an hour. They were both surprised, so they left it on and didn't wake up to take it off until the morning. I tried it twice, once without the second cream, which it's advertised to use underneath, once alone.

Very sticky stuff, yuk!!
I ordered this two months ago and loved the results!! The cream was white! So, I ordered again, and this Tube of sticky stuff is awful. It’s like petroleum jelly and stays sticky for hours. I do not like it!What happened? Can I get a refund please?

Forget going to the Derms office!
WOW! Start SLOW if you’re new to retinoids and use maybe only a couple of times a week in the beginning! This is VERY potent so use a small amount each time. It’s a thick consistency with no scent and is easy to work with. Use TINY dots in various sections and spread. You must have patience because your skin will react each time you up the usage when getting used to it. Once you start you MUST stay consistent or your skin will not adjust and it will react as if you’re at day 1 all over again! It’s amazing quality, the real deal and is very worth the cost. With this you don’t have to go to the Derms office, get a script and then the pharmacy so this is a convenient and fully effective option. It’s easy to use and will prove itself to you after just a few uses. Make sure to keep your skin VERY hydrated at all times to help with the tightness and roughness when your skin begins to react to this Retinoid. A great product if you use it wisely! After my skin became used to this product I can tell a huge difference in texture, deep lines, fine lines are gone and firmness has reappeared. Great alternative and cheaper price than what the dermatologist will give you!

Great product
Bought this as I read in a Sunday magazine it was very good. You use a few times a week and not daily as it a very strong product. Has the consistency of Vaseline but obviously works differently. I think it has worked very well but I imagine if you have very sensitive skin it may irritate. Read instructions carefully before use. I think it is excellent and a very good price. Would recommend.

can be used by retinol beginners
I have been using the cream for about 3 weeks and had never used a retinoid before. I wanted to give it a try because I'd heard very good things about it and it contain retinyl esters and not retinol, so I figured that it could be suitable for beginners too. I started by using a a pea-sized amount and buffered by using a moisturiser first, followed by the cream. I broke out in the first two weeks which I believe was a "retinol purge". I only had some very minor irritation. I used it twice a week in the first couple of weeks and have now increased to three times. It's too early to say anything about results but the break outs are gone now and my skin has a good complexion the morning after applying the cream. I mainly wanted to leave a review on how to start. So if you're not super sensitive and start carefully by buffering first, you can use this cream even if you've never used a retinol before.

Effective, low dose - with quirks but few of the usual retinol irritations
As a 54-year-old retinol 'connoisseur,' I had high hopes for A313 given some of the celebrity hype.I'm currently using it every 2-3 nights, depending on how my sensitive, reactive skin feels. While it does leave my skin smooth and nicely refined, the texture takes some getting used to. It’s quite thick and needs to be warmed in your hands before applying so that the skin doesn't drag. It also feels slightly tacky after application, which might not be for everyone. Even though it's not the most drying retinol treatment, there's sometimes a slight tingle, and I usually slather a thick night cream over it to mitigate the drying effects. And - in spite of the 'miracle' hype - the retinol content is actually very low compared with some other products, so it'll never be a silver bullet for aging (though that also makes this a good option for first-time users).I haven't experienced the usual flakiness/tingling which often come with a new retinol product or huge outbreak of reactivity (the odd aggravating 'purging pimple'). Whether it meets the hype, I guess, really depends on your skin type and age - and it hasn't worked miracles because nothing does, especially for the incredibly reasonable price. Worth a try for anyone who doesn’t mind the slightly 'medical' texture and smudges on the pillow case.
