I've used Vanish carpet products for years on the wool carpets in my holiday cottage - the foam is good for general high traffic areas, but there've been some more difficult stains that have been a bit of a problem, more recently a rather anonymous splat which someone had wiped up and it had dried in - I'd no idea what it was, but the other spot cleaners hadn't touched it, so I got this Vanish Gold, more in hope than expectation. This product cleared it completely. Gone. Wouldn't have known anything had been splatted. So I gave this a go on another old carpet stain which had been around for a long time - I occasionally have another run at it and it's barely visible, but I know it's there, and it bugs me, so I gave it a go with this. Gone. I did give both stains a good dosing - not to soak the carpet entirely, but a generous application. Gently scrubbed it in and left it overnight - the instructions say 5 mins max but I got waylaid. Revisited it next morning and there was nothing there, and the carpet fibres hadn't suffered any colour loss or damage. This is also really effective on anonymous stains on the upholstery of sofas and chairs where I haven't got time to, or can't, remove the covers for washing on changeover. These are mostly hot drinks the guests have accidentally slopped on the sofa, or a dog has slobbered. Or something - but it gets rid of them, too and the upholstery is pristine again ready for the next assault. I've used this in my own house for the greasy tide mark left by my own GSDs when they've lain on the floor up against the sofa, or wiped their whiskers on the chair backs, thinking I won't know. I don't normally fuss about the grime my own dogs make in the house, but I'm a bit fussy about the cottage, and I'm well pleased with this. Good stuff. I've got some more of this ready for the next 'emergency.'

Good value and cleans very well. Easy to apply and dabb with a tissue or cloth to dry and remove stain/dirt.

Cleaning marks from everyday use on carpets. Also useful for some marks left on furniture, especially from children.

Good stuff and a good price but I wished it sprayed rather than spotted. Transferred contents to a spray bottle which, in my opinion ,works better.

I have used this for years as so reliable. I end up wiping with the carpet pile or mat. 3 bottles is a good buy. Not easily found in supermarkets. These have no scent to aggravate my allergic asthma. The delivery was not delivered to me in person.A good job I live in a private block of flats,so it did not go missing.

Bought this to clean muddy prints from our cats and dogs off our new sofa and carpet. Amazed how well it works, there's not been a mark yet that it hasn't cleaned. At first I thought, Great, the spray has stained the sofa, but it was just because it was wet from the spray and quickly "Vanished" once it had dried. Wish I'd added this to subscription now as I will be ordering this again! Great product.

This is a Great stain remover. It has removed stains from the bottom of my purse to stains on dirty collars to dog stains on the carpet. Plan on buying more.

Hartnäckige Flecken sind binnen Minuten weg, ich habe schon mit dem „normalen“ Vanish versucht, hatte nicht gebracht. Mit dem Schaum funktioniert es. / Stubborn stains went away within minutes. I had tried with the „normal „ Vanish and couldn’t remove the stains, this foam really does the job
