Happy with the set. My old set had a few missing and worn. At this price it was better to get a new set instead of individual cutters. Used to clearance a hole for a gate latch in thick steel. Worked great even just in my cordless drill and the cutter held up just fine.

Great set of bits

This carbide burr set has been a useful addition to my rotary tool accessories. The bits cut efficiently through hardwood and various metals, making carving, engraving, deburring, and shaping tasks much easier. The double-cut design provides good material removal while still allowing for controlled, detailed work. The variety of included shapes adds versatility, and the tungsten carbide construction appears durable enough for regular use. Most of the burrs stayed sharp after several projects and delivered clean, consistent results. I deducted one star because the storage case could be better quality, and a few bits showed minor imperfections out of the package. Despite that, the overall performance and value are very good for the price. A solid set for hobbyists, DIY enthusiasts, and general workshop applications.

Bought to remove a seized bolt inside a rear control arm on vehicle. I didn't have much faith in these files when I first received them but I must say I was pleasantly surprised how fast they cut even using the lower speeds of an impact drill/driver. I broke the bolt head off and center drilled the bolt shank. I used these to slowly clean the bolt out without damaging the control arm. These rotary files did the trick and I'd recommend them for any average job. I haven't tested them at high speed or used them to cut extremely hard metal so I'm not sure of their durability especially if using at a job site but I can say they work well for that random project that pops up in which a drill bit won't cut it.

I used several of these bits to successfully grind off the heads and part of the shanks of two screws using an 18V cordless electric drill. The screws were made of very hard steel, and used to secure the burner of a natural gas range to the cooktop. I was then able to remove the burner for the purpose of replacing a failed ignitor. I have since used this item for other repair work where a drill bit would not do the job. I am very pleased with this product.

i have spent some money on other bits in the past that did not work well, but theses bits are amazing they work well and fast will definitely buy them again
