Still good with new design
I’ve used these for years and was surprised when they changed the design. I thought they wouldn’t be as good or reliable now they are thinner but i was wrong. They are still super absorbent and I think a better fit and more comfortable.

So Much Better Than Many Bigger Name Brands
I find these to be best and most effective of their type. If it's a heavy month, two are ideal. Initially, there might be a sense of too much between the legs...although, speaking personally, I quickly become accustomed to it and don't notice after an hour or so. 💟

BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN!!
THE NEW DESIGN IS TERRIBLE! A much thinner pad, and now has a narrow design, which means leakage onto your underwear. This never happened with the old design pads. Also, the top coat has changed. It feels almost plastic. This causes irritation and sensitivity to are area the pad touches. So those with sensitivity problems, avoid this product! I also found that the new top cover splits easily, causing the clumps of cotton wool filling to come out and stick so you, causing MORE irritation! I’ve used the old product for 33 years and NEVER has and problems. The product was perfect for my heavy periods. No leakage, comfortable to wear, no tearing, and the thickness of the pad made me feel more confident in the knowledge that it would never let me down. Now, I don’t know of any other product out there with the same high qualities that I can use. Why change the design?! There was nothing wrong with the old one! Why change something that works? It was probably a guy that made the change…someone with no idea how periods work LOL

Not as good as they were
I've bought these pads for years and years, they were perfect for making me feel safe and secure. Comfortable to wear and highly absorbent. UNFORTUNATELY they have completely redesigned the pad and now it is really narrow and nowhere near as thick and absorbent. I used to like the brushed cotton feel on the skin, but now the texture is more plasticy. I don't like them now. Such a pain having to find something else that was similar to the old product. Not sure if any other brands do anything similar to the old Kotex though.
