A Paddle for Looping Practice
A beautiful paddle! This Chinese-style penhold racket is a great choice if you've already moved past the beginner stage and want to start learning loop shots, feeling the power, and exploring spin variations.

Good cheap blade, needs new rubber!
First of all, this is a Chinese style PEN HOLD paddle (cpen). Therefore, it has the shorter handle as expected of any pen hold racket. DON’T buy this if you are looking for a regular (shakehand) paddle. It also only has rubber on one side (red) like many pen hold paddles. It is very low quality rubber; you are going to want to replace it for something better. I also put a black rubber on the wooden backhand side as well, but I had to sandpaper it first to get rid of the smooth shiny finish in order to get the glue to actually stick to the wood. I only bought this because it is one of the cheapest pen hold blades around (less expensive than trying to find a blank blade with no rubbers), and I bought it with the intention of putting my own rubbers on it because I knew the one it comes with would be terrible. Basically, I would only recommend this product to someone like me who plays pen hold, or wants to learn pen hold, and is just looking for a really cheap blade to put some decent rubber on. It can be really hard to find cheap pen hold blades, and a lot of ones online are expensive or from international sellers, so this product is very convenient. It will get the job done great for the price, and although I usually play Japanese style, I have enjoyed the little bit I have played on this blade so far.

Pen hold? Ridiculous
I’ve never seen this kind of pen hold racket. It’s just a shake hand racket with one side rubber.

Stretchy
It stretches my index finger when I’m using it. Not comfortable.

Good value for starter penhold racket.
Very good value for this starter oenhold racket, but Note that rubber is only on one side. If you want to use the backside backhand, you’ll have to put your own rubber on that side.

This is a normal ply penhold blade. There is only one rubber and other side is lacquered. The rubber is poor. If you want to use the blade scrap off the rubber and put your own rubber. To use RPB you can put a rubber on the backhand side by sanding the lacquer.

It's a penhold blade. I use only red side of the racket. Cons: After playing one hour, my hand got numb. It is made out of thin wood so it doesn't absorb the impulse much. Pros: It makes a good smashing sound. Good tacky rubber.
