The ClearlyFrozen® High Capacity Ice Tray - Crystal Clear 1.3” & 2” Cubes

I am very happy with my purchase. I have already made a couple batches of perfectly clear cubes (no cloudiness at all) - both the large and smaller cubes. It was very easy to do by following the directions included with my purchase. It took about 18 hours in my freezer, but that may vary some depending on the freezer you use. I removed it from the freezer when there was still some water below the cube mold, but the cubes were completely frozen. There are a lot of clear ice options out there, but this one has many great reviews and works exactly how I would expect. In fact, I am so pleased with it, I just purchased the spears mold to go with the large and small cube molds I bought originally. If you’re looking for a way to elevate your craft cocktails by using clear ice, I would highly recommend this product.

I wanted clear ice in many different sizes; but I did not want to invest space or money in multiple ice makers. This set delivered! The large cubes are crystal clear, the small cubes are in the freezer. When the sphere mold drops I will purchase asap!The mold is sturdy, the ice looks great and is an actual cube and not cube-like. Because one base works with multiple molds it saved me a lot of money and storage space.The only thing I could want is a larger ice storage bag, the one that comes with does not fit (10) 2”x2” cubes, it holds (8).

It does what it says on the tin. I use a mix of bottled, filtered and tap water (the heavy, bad stuff gets pushed into the bottom) to get some amazingly clear ice. I used to use the cooler in the freezer method, but this is far more convenient than carving and chopping ice.Personally, I think it is a bit pricey given what it is.... but the sheer convenience of it, the lack of a need to chop and shape my own ice, these things have made up for it.I do not post images typically, and I will not here, but just know that my whisky is very happy with the large cubes and the wife is happy with the smaller ones.Buy it if you can. It works as advertised.If you are still getting cloudy ice, do not use 100% filtered water. Cut it at least 50/50 with bottled or a mix like I have explained above. If you STILL get cloudy or unclear ice, turn your freezer down a notch and wait 24 hours before making ice again. You have to get the right timing or the freezer just traps bubble trails.

A bit quirky and fussy, but at the end of the day it works well enough.

Awesome product!! We have been getting amazingly clear cubes since we began - 5 runs in and looking absolutely incredible! For real - lol! I have the first batch of 2" cubes - fist sized! - freezing now. Super easy if you follow the directions. It was tricky to get the cubes out at first, but we learned how to do it pretty quickly. Beautiful cubes - crisp, sharp edges, clear enough to read through. Our freezer is colder, so we get a scant few trapped bubbles, but this ice is SO COOL!!! You can read through it it's so cool. It's definitely a hands-on job and a small bit of work, but worth it if you want clear, beautiful ice cubes.
