I love this thing so much! We just moved into a new house that appeared to be immaculate. I got this because we have a baby who’s gonna be crawling on floors and I wanted to make sure that they were clean. I have cleaned these floors three times and I’m still emptying what my six-year-old describes as “poop water”! I genuinely cannot believe how incredible this thing is. I’ve been continuing to clean all the floors once a day to try to get to like a Level. But this just goes to show you how much dirt gets trapped in tile that we don’t see or know about. I also used it upstairs on the wood floor. I don’t know exactly what it’s called. It’s not like genuine wood. I think it’s like wood plank or whatever. Anyway, it worked just as well up there and out came more poop water! We’re actually putting CARPET up there so I did it two more times to try and get it as clean as I could before we put the carpet down. In regards to day-to-day use, I don’t know how moms live without this thing. I don’t know how I live without it for so long! We had spaghetti for dinner the other night my one year-old made a terrible mess. I just got this out plugged it in two or three swipes and my floor was clean. My six year-old dropped a cupcake. Same deal; 60 seconds later clean floor! It’s super easy to use, easy to rinse out and clean. I love love, love that it actually cleans itself! The cord is really thick and durable, but also really heavy and if you accidentally swing it around and it cracked you in the ankle just know that it’s really gonna hurt! The steam boost is magnificent. I love that it pushes steam up all over my counters all over the toilet. It makes me feel like something else is getting a little clean while I do the floors. It is a little pricey, but for what it is, I would absolutely spend the money again. Which is saying something, because I’m pretty cheap. I spent almost as much on a regular Shark vacuum cleaner that does nothing but pick things up off the floor. It is definitely worth the money!! And now my absolute favorite feature: it literally pulls you! This thing is pretty heavy, it has some weight to it. Initially, I was a little intimidated by that as I have arthritis in my hips and vacuuming mopping are typically pretty painful things for me. This machine literally pulls itself along making light work of my 1800 ft.² downstairs area. The only (Con) I found so far is that it does struggle to get into white corners or the edges of a room. But that’s common of any of these type of machines even my $300 Shark vacuum cleaner doesn’t do well with that. Bottom line just buy the dang thing! 😊 I would be genuinely shocked if you have anything even resembling a regret!

Thing thing is awesome. I just built a new house, and after I used a shop vac to get up as much drywall as I can, I bought this to get the residual fine dust off the wood flooring. I did take it slow, but one single pass on the hardwood floor with this unit cleaned it up very well. No more black spots on the bottom of my feet or socks when walking in the room. Probably hit it with a "swiffer" style mop 10 times and it just wasn't doing anything. The corded design is great because I have no fear of a battery failing in 3 years, so I consider this a lifetime purchase which justifies the money some. I would recommend only running Reverse Osmosis (R.O) or Distilled water and to stay away from the Tap water/sink water, even if its filtered and with a water softener. Steam lines within the unit can scale and build up mineral deposits from normal water which will affect performance and life of the unit over time. The only thing I am unsure of is if this unit can use the Tineco Cleaning Solution. I haven't needed to, but I have heard mixed results that you should not because the device constantly steams. That should be made clear as well, this device constantly steams while in operation, and the steam boost they advertise is activated in addition to the constant steaming via a trigger on the handle. - Chemical Engineer

Great product all round. I appreciate it being corded so that I don’t have to worry about running out of battery when doing large sections of my house. The steam function helps get stubborn grime to lift easily. Cleaning the brush and water collection tank is fast and easy.

We ordered this to replace a Tineco S3. Pros: better cleaning performance (we did a limited test by cleaning one room with the older S3 and following up with this cleaner without using the steam feature and vise versa in another room to see if there was any difference. The room where we started with the S3 and followed up with this cleaner showed darkish water on the dirty water tank as opposed to the clear water in the S3’s dirty water tank when we started with this cleaner) The cord version comes in handy and allows continuous use when turning on steam compared to the battery version. With the older S3 it would run out of battery from time to time cleaning multiple rooms, but not an issue with this corded version. Steam is a really nice feature and does a good job of removing dirt especially anything that’s sticky. The clean water tank is larger and requires fewer refills. The clean water tank was moved to the base assembly compared to our older S3 which moves weight down to the base and increases ease of use. The dirty water tank has a strainer that pulls the dog hair in our case out of the dirty water so it doesn’t go down the drain. Cons: The clean water tank is larger, so if you fill it with a clean water and cleaner mix you won’t be able to use steam until you deplete the tank and refill with just fresh water. The clean water tank sits above the roller, this caused issues for us because it stops the cleaner from getting up to the base boards under cabinets. Our cleaner measures about 3 and 5/8” tall from the ground to the top of the clean water tank. Sporadically leaves streaks on the floor. Still trying to figure out if there is a rhyme or reason, but since it’s not all the time it’s hard to pinpoint.

I’m comparing the Tineco S6 with my Bissell Crosswave. Both work well but the Tineco leaves less water on the floor (engineered hardwood) and the steam feature is fantastic for the bathroom tile floors. So, Tineco is well worth the money for the great creatures and end results.

Tineco customer support is a joke so far! I bought this machine used it literally for about an hour and it never would produce "extra" steam when using the "boost steam" button. Supposedly this button provides extra steam out of the front of the unit for stubborn messes. Tineco had me email them sales receipt, serial number and a video of what the machine is not doing. I did all this and there response was is the battery fully charged....its a CORDED model it doesn't have a battery!!! Now they want me to clean the fresh water tank and refill with clean water and charge the battery!!! I have spent a day emailing back and forth with them getting no where on a machine that is less than 2 days old!!!! Just received my replacement from Amazon after Tineco wasted 3 days trying to figure out what to do. Amazon.com steppedin and handledit by sendingme a replacement...the new one works as it should!! Thank you Amazon!! Oh and by the way with the new one working as it should this is a must have!! Amazing how well it cleans the floors!!!

Researched for several months and decided on this cleaner. It’s amazing and even though there’s only two of us and we clean the floors quite often we couldn’t believe how dirty they were. It did a fabulous job!
