Good Family first tent
Bought this tent on the back of the previous review even though he hd some bad point it seemed very honest and it was. For a first family tent we are happy with it. All the points made in the previous review are relevant and fair except that I think that the quality is definitely way better than a cheap tesco tent. That was a bit unfair BUT yes the zips are hard to close if they are opened right to the top of the door and you do need to loosen the guy ripes at the front. Also one of the fibre glass poles was cracked on opening that I had to secure with duck tape. I will be requesting a new pole. As for the condensation yes it was there in the morning but airing the tent cleared this and we as a family of four sweaty individuals experienced no drips at all. Its a good first tent for summer camping. We had a storm with 29 knot winds in a sheltered camp site and it stood up fine and was bone dry throughout our 3 night trip. We had a great time in it. Easy to assemble and very spacious cosy and secure. Would I get another coleman tent. Yes.

Sk sellers are a joke and so is the tent
This is a good size tent and looked the prt but Tent ripped at porch, pole split while assembling, during our stay the bedroom that attaches to tent ripped in corner leaving a hole and the bedroom window zip split in the middle which left it unusable, I’ve had little to no contact with the sellers regarding this as they will not respond to my messages they asked for me to send pics which I did a number of weeks ago!

Put simply, it isn’t waterproof
I loved everything about this tent until we received it and put it up.It isn’t waterproof! First trip let lots of water in! We had similar issues with the front lip tearing as others have had too. The black out bedroom is incredible and the only thing the description doesn’t lie about. Our last trip- we literally had bucket loads of water inside the tent. Had to pour the water out when packing the tent! Do not go near this tent or seller tbf, their advice is to waterproof the (advertised) ‘waterproof tent’ they sold me.Ruined holidays

Decent Size but a little flimsy.
I'm now well into 20+ years of camping, extreme camping in very inhospitable locations in my younger days in my trusty old Vango Odyssey 350 Geodesic, festival and then later family camping in my massive Vango Diablo 900. A few cheap tents have also come and gone over the years. My Vango Diablo is now around 12 years old and has seen about 20 or 30 festivals in that time and is getting a little worse for ware so it was time for a new family tent, mostly for fair weather use.I've always bought Vango camping gear and Coleman stoves and lanterns etc as they are generally excellent quality. This is my first Coleman tent and my opinions are varied.Good Points -For such a large footprint it packs into a relatively small bag and isn't too heavy.Good size living space and good head height. The little canopy on the front is a nice touch although no king poles are provided for the front door.Black out bedrooms are excellent.Easy to pitch.Bad Points -The single skined living area feels a little exposed and gets soaking with condensation, this means everytime the wind blows you get dripped on, to make this worse the bedrooms are mesh so these drips also get to you in the night whilst you're asleep, I've never had this issue with any proper double skinned tents. The fittings seem generally low quality, ie ladder locks, peg points, zips etc. all feel a little cheap. The outer doors on both the front and side are difficult to close. I pitched the tent with the doors zipped closed, because of the tunnel design this tent relies on the guy lines to stand, because of this there is a lot of tension on the doors so when you unzip them it's very difficult to close them again and the zips feel cheap like they could easily spilt, your only option is to leave the guy lines slightly loose therefore you have a flappy tent which takes us back to the condensation problem. It really should have a tension band across the bottom of the doors to keep the pressure off the zips or have D shaped doors.Mesh bedrooms?!? They just don't feel cosy and you feel a little like your just sleeping in the porch area of a good quality tent. The bag is terrible quality, my large Vango tent came with heavy duty canvas bags, this is lower quality that a 10p bag for life, and no doubt will end up ripped because, as always, it's almost impossible to get the tent back inside the bag after use, but due to the flimsy bag brute force isn't even an option.I consider £400 to be a price for a mid range family tent, I didn't expect it to match my £800 Vango but it seems to me that it's not much better than the kind of junk you can buy for £89.99 from Tesco. I'm slightly disappointed because I've always rated Coleman as a brand but it seems they are just sticking Coleman logos on cheap rubbish. All in all it'll make a decent fair-weather tent for use in a perfectly flat camp site, would fancy it in the strong wind and rain though.

Not as big as you think...
This is a good tent, being first time campers, this seemed like a good tent based on reviews.Fairly easy to put up, however I feel the tent pegs supplied are not very good, as even when firmly hammered in they can twist around and the support ropes can come undone. Given the price of the tent I would have expected much better pegs. This is advertised as a 5 man tent, what for stick men???This is a comfortable 4 person tent, we had two children, me and my wife, that was just right, anything more would have been uncomfortable.Overall this is a good tent, and a good size, lots of storage pockets.Overall this is a good tent, not sure it would hold up in windy weather, and we didn't experience rain, so can't comment on how water tight the tent is.However I would not feel confident in wet or windy weather, I fear we would all have to make a dash for the car...It's a good quality tent, however I do think personally it is expensive for what it is.Blackout rooms are really good, and definitely worth having, I felt the rooms are very well protected from bugs and flying insects, the mess windows and double screens are very good.

Not very robust
I will be returning this. Glad I did a test run in the garden. Blustery day of 20mph winds but poles kept coming out. Not what you would want on a campsite

Not wind friendly
We were not able to camp because of covid so decided to pitch in the garden, we had a slight storm and the front ripped off

Definitely wheel chair accessible!
Great tent for a wheel chair. I wish every tent was made with a flap down piece on the door.

Top Zelt
