This is a beautiful, alcohol-free daily nourishing toner that feels incredibly gentle and soothing on the skin. The inclusion of Jojoba Milk and Oat Extract makes it genuinely calming and hydrating, which is perfect for sensitive or dry skin. It feels more like an essence or a light moisturiser than a typical toner. However, because it's so rich and creamy, I found it can leave a slightly tacky or heavy residue on the skin, so it might be too much for those with very oily skin. It's a great product if your skin needs serious moisture and to be soothed.

I've found this milky tonic to be very suitable for my mature skin which is also prone to hormonal spot outbreaks. The tonic is not astringent, a reason I stopped using toners in the past, and it feels exceptionally gentle on my skin whilst balancing the tone and texture. I think it's perfect for when you have sensitive skin whilst also tackling blemishes and spots. It looks like cloudy water and the scent I get from it is a refreshing citrus. I apply it by shaking a few drops into my cupped hand and then I dab it on with my finger tips and allow it to fully dry. This is more efficient and doesn't waste any by using cotton pads. It's not meant to clean the skin, it's designed to soothe, calm, balance and hydrate and for me it does all of this. It's reasonably priced for 250 grammes and it should last for several months.

My skin didn't like this, and had a reaction that felt like a cystic spot without anything raising. They went down after 2 days, but I didn't have that issue with Pixi's Antioxidant tonic. Unless shaken well before use, I found it smells strongly of kids' bubble blowing mixture. Not a fan, and I'll be sticking with the other tonic by Pixi, instead
