Great set, can't pretend that I know exactly what I'm doing with the wide and varied tools available in it but I'm having lots of fun trying to figure them all out. Definitely worth a punt if you're looking to explore your creativity.

A huge array of items for the budding artist!There are so many included bits, that it'll take months to try them all. All of the pencils seem decent quality and are decent for the type of angular/technical drawings that I do in my evening classes. I didn't even know there WAS such a thing as white charcoal until I picked this up (-is- it a thing?!) - Quite a nice little selection to play around with though. The metal tools are a nice plus.The only negative I would say, is that the case itself isn't as strong as I'd like. For such a large array of tools and drawing implements, I'd have thought a solid plastic case would be a better idea (a pelican clip-close one would be even nicer for a few extra quid).

It's excellent quality. And there's so much stuff! More than I personally need as I'm not into charcoals. They're just not precise enough for what I like to do. The one thing in the kit that I'd never used or seen before was the tortillions. I had to go online to find out what they're used for. Turns out the same things as stumps. But given the way they're made I can only imagine that instead of smoothly blending your work they would randomly do so and I don't see me ever using them due to that.I showed the kit to a friend of mine who's a professional artist who said that if she didn't already own everything (oddly enough, except for the tortillions) that she'd be online ordering her own kit. She agreed with me that this is a great kit for anyone wanting to start or get back into drawing. We both feel the original price is great considering what and how much you get. The current sale price is even more appealing. I'm giving this kit five stars in spite of the fact that it includes stuff I'll never use because I'll just find someone who will use them and gift the items.
