first use of any monopod, learned of monopod existed from instagram. reviewed and got this Coman - quick two days later / stock item. nice red/black bag. monopod is solid built, solid feel, heavy but necessary to hold camera steady and solid to ground. all functions look useful and maybe better than my 3 leg standard camera stand. overall looks great with small anodized alum. copper color adjustment points. I am impressed by overall design and functional points.

Excellent First Monopod – Changed My Mind
I've been a professional photographer and filmmaker for over 10 years, and somehow I'd never owned a monopod. I always assumed they wouldn't be stable enough for my heavier camera rigs, but this one completely changed my perspective. The build quality feels excellent, the folding feet provide much more stability than I expected, and the quick-release system makes it fast to get my camera on and off. While it's not a replacement for a tripod in every situation, it's a fantastic balance between stability and portability, especially when you need to move quickly or shoot from different angles. I was impressed enough that I made a full first-impressions review on my YouTube channel, JamiFilms, where I walk through the features and share my honest thoughts after using it. If you're considering this monopod, I think it's absolutely worth checking out.

100% recommend!!!!
Took some getting used to with all the ways you can move/use it but this thing is amazing! It’s so sturdy!! It’s so easy to use once you get the hang of it! This tripod is 100% worth the money!!

Doesn’t hold weight
It doesn’t support my 7lb lens no where near 22. The feet are nice and it’s sturdy built. But it’s literally useless unless all the way closed, it’s not heavy, waste of money though. Wish it worked it’s easy to use.

Ignore the instructions, read this.
3 stars because of the instructions. Beyond that, 5 star monopod. JFK could have written better instructions and he's been dead for 40 plus years. Its like satan said "I got this" Pro tip- to install the camera on the mount push it back to unlock all the way, then when slides in, it locks. Did I say all the way to right? Why yes I did. Only way it works and not in the instructions. Really. Outside some vague McGruder film like in instructions you are on your own. Now you know. Beyond that, takes some getting use to, like putting the camera 90 degrees (pro tip, turn it the other way, it will work) it is an excellent device. Everything I wanted and more. So yes, read this review. AFTER you do, get the monopod. And the instructions make ok kindling.

Functional but not mobile
The quality of materials/metal seems to be high. There's no notice of cheap/plastic parts. It does what it needs to do in monopod mode. Here's the bad. Way too heavy. Don't take this without you hiking; it is heavy, it is uncomfortable. In tripod mode, when extended to full height, it will tilt and your camera and lense will be lost; this is a design flaw allowing a high center of gravity. The quick release plate is huge! Even if you can quick release, that plate won't allow you to naturally and comfortably take pictures using your hands; not cool; another design flaw. I would not recommend this to anyone if they're active in photography (hiking).

Great adjustable camera stand
I absolutely love this camera stand. I purchased to film my son’s crowded karate tournaments and its adjustable height skies above all heads. Saves my arms from falling asleep! It’s super sturdy, light weight and well made. Worth every penny!

COMAN Monopod.
Appears to be a strong & robust “Monopod”. I guess with the heavy weight it will facilitate for very “steady” photography. Still to be used.
