Exact Dell charging port replacement

This is a very simple fix for a Dell 3511 charging port connector. 1.Remove the screws on the back of the computer and take off back cover. Locarte the port connector and remove the hindge screw to remove old connector, and remove connector cable . You may need a small flat-blade screwdriver for connector removal at the motherboard. 2. Slightly slide the connector off motherboard, so use caution and be gentle. 3. Install new connector and route wire in the same location as original. 4. Screw back hinge screw, which secures connector in place. 5. Re-attach back cover. Plug in adapter - and you are done!! Plug connector has a tight fit with power supply plug. Charges and runs like new!

Matches The OEM Power Port

This power jack is for my Dell Inspiron 3511 laptop. The cable length (important) is the same as the OEM. See photos. I replaced my power port about for months after the original began to fail after only about 2-1/2 years in use.As shown in the attached photos this AILTECK power port literally matches the OEM including the cable portion, the shape of the connectors, etc. I decided to get this AILTECK to have on hand in the event my current replacement fails. The reason I'm rating this AILTECK five stars is it matches the OEM at a fraction of the cost.Tip: there are plenty of YouTube videos on replacing a power port. If you feel comfortable with the replacement go for it.
