This drone is easy to fly, very responsive, has a great camera and I am very happy with it. It is also very robust. My learning curve was probably longer than most and involved my crashing the drone several times. That didn't seem to bother it at all. The customer service of this Company is absolutely superb. I had a problem with my first drone and I emailed the Company on a Saturday afternoon and had a reply waiting for me the next morning. A couple of things were suggested, which did not fix the issue (which wasn't terribly serious). Then Emily (the rep. who helped me and was excellent) said she would arrange for a replacement to be sent to me. I received the replacement in three days. I can't say enough good things about the service I received. I think this is an excellent company you can deal with in complete confidence. If you need a capable, reasonably priced drone, I don't think you can do better than the PL-511 and this Company. UPDATE 10/18/2024 I had problems with two of these drones. The first I bought and it worked OK but I discovered when I hovered it 20' above ground it did not stay in one position, it made a 6' circle or went about 20' sideways. I contacted the Company and they sent me a new one. It worked really well for two days so I wrote the above review. On the third day I flew it a few minutes when it flipped over and crashed into the ground. It did that five times in a row. The next day I tried it again and it again flipped over and crashed. I returned it to Amazon and will get a refund in due course. I think this is an excellent company and the drone seems to be well built. However, from my experience I would say it has a software problem. Maybe I was just unlucky and got the only bad two drones they ever made. Unfortunately, I simply can't trust their drones. I stand by my comments about their customer service, which is excellent.

I’m really happy with this drone! It’s super easy to set up and fly, even for beginners like me. The controls are responsive, and the drone feels very stable in the air, even with some wind. The camera quality is impressive and clear, smooth, and great for capturing outdoor scenery. The included batteries are a huge plus, giving me up to around 45 minutes of total flight time before recharging. I also love the foldable design, it’s lightweight, compact, and easy to carry around. The loss alert feature is really smart too as it gives peace of mind knowing I won’t lose it if it flies too far. (that was a real concern for me). Whether you’re getting this for yourself or as a gift, it’s an excellent choice for anyone wanting to experience flying a drone with great camera quality and performance. Definitely worth the price! It's my new toy...

Great drone video is very choppy and doesn't really feel like 4k

I really wanted this drone to work but unfortunately it doesn't. We bought 1 for my oldest son and initially it was decent. But after the 2nd flight it started having a very heavy vibration in the front right rotor causing it to suddenly drop in altitude. Not wanting it to crash, we stopped flying and I reached out to Amazon and they sent a replacement. The 2nd drone worked equally as well on the first few flights so I bought another drone for my other son. Of course after receiving it, the 1st drone started developing the same vibration in the same front right rotor. The blades weren't damaged but I changed them anyway and still it would happen making it very difficult to climb and fly. On the 2nd flight with the 3rd drone, it randomly went out of control and took off above the houses flying across our neighborhood never to be seen again. So now we have 1 drone we cannot fly and the other missing in action. Such a waste.

It was an excellent drone but it comes without guards and that contributes to his downfall and one of the motors is not working eventually probably due to crashes but the other than that it's an excellent drone it just needs guards

OK, I'm a completely new to flying a drone, I'm still very early in the learning phase. However, I can't imagine a better beginner to expert drone. I love it. It has auto features to help the beginner drone pilot. In my case, I have lots of room around me to learn, I suggest anyone learning to fly this drone have the same. The other key learning feature I suggest is to have calm wind conditions and again, lots of open space around you. Because I'm new to drone flying this is the ONLY time I fly the drone. I have ended up in the low branches of trees nearby a couple of times but the surprising thing is that it's so lightweight that there was zero damage. This is another reason why I think it's an ideal beginner drone. My background in flying an RC drone is that I used to be very proficient at flying RC powered aerobatic planes. But that only taught me that you must proceed with learning to fly the slowly and with the highest margin for error possible. Let me add that I get a thrill out of flying this drone. It's fast and zippy which scares the heck out of me right now but when I get the basics of flying this thing mastered I can see a day that fast and zippy will be a bunch of fun for me. I love this little drone and with time I'm sure I'll be proficient at it :) I'm hooked!!
