Pros: -Lightweight given how rigid the frame is. Very sturdy. -Build quality is good. -Brakes need some adjusting, but will lock wheels very securely. -Rolls with ease on smooth surfaces. Turns relatively well. -Folds up fast with locks. -Travel bag looks fine after 3 international flights. -Comes fully built. -Very compact. Cons: -Front wheel gets caught up really easily on changes in elevation. Even a short 1/2" door threshold could cause the wheel chair to stop, and send the occupant forward. Always step on the rear to lift the front over bumps. -Not great wtih little gaps in the ground when turning. The front two wheels aren't firm or rigid enough to hold direction. It will jam. -Front suspension doesn't seem to do anything. If it absorbed shock it might help with the two issues above. -Pusher operated brakes are not mean to be progressive. Don't expect to use partial pressure for down slopes. The wheels will lock up quickly.

This is a wonderful transport wheel chair. Folds up easily, stores in the back of the trunk and allowed me to transport my 200 lb husband with little effort. So much easier than the standard wheelchairs with the large wheels on the outside. I could get this right next to the bed for easy transfer. Narrow hallways are no problem.

this wheel chair has a fatal flaw... a serious problem with design. its best to look at my pictures... the wheel chair folds/collapses by pushing the backside and pushing inward the seat. ideally its best to lean the chair forward so the two small front wheels...lean forward than collapse it. it collapses fairly easy not much effort is needed. but the big problem is, if you lean the chair rearward and collapse it, than the two small wheels rotate...thats bad and in most cases the chair will NOT collpase/fold properly...it like gets blocked and thats because the front wheel have spun around preventing the chair from completely folding shut. if you do this..odds are you will eventually cause one of the front wheels to spin into the worst position so when it does collpase/fold closed...the chair is now LOCKED. meaning there is NO way to open or unfold it because the front wheel has jammed and because its rubber, its gripping the rear wheel. i used this chair help push my mom who is 80 yr old and about 70lb. i use it to wheel her to the car. i place her in car and drive her to hospital. i wheeled her to the doctors office and once i got there, i folded the chair so it would not be in the way. this is when i noticed it did not fold/collpase properly because by mistake i was leaning the char rearward causing front wheels to spin around. i was unsure why it would not properly when i had done it earlier in practise runs. i kept trying and finally got it....it felt like a tight close but got it. nwo came time to unfold it as mom was ready to go home. the chair simply would not open because one of the wheels was jammed. there was no way to open it, so dissapointed. hospital loaned me a wheel chair. we got home and i had to use a hex nut driver, crescent wrench to remove the nut on the wheel, slide front wheel out of the frame...spin the frame around and reinsert the wheel. what a pain! lesson here is, you MUST remember to lean the chair forward so the front wheel remained outward..if the front wheels spin rearward due to gravity there is a good chance it will wedge itself between frame and rear wheel and if you close the chair quickly it'll just wedge, lock itself into place. Because its rubber on rubber, the wheel really grips and you won't be able to wiggle or slide it out. the folks who designed this did not take this into account. it could be fixed if you place a spin lock on the wheel, preventing it from spinning 360 degrees. front wheels dont need to spin all the way round as this is the cause of the problem. I highly recommend not buying this wheel chair due to this serious design flaw. its lightweight and folds easily when done right. problem is, too many times the front wheels face wrong way due to the fact its too easy to lean the chair the wrong way when you go to fold it. so to counter this design flaw its best to very slowly close/fold the chair...if you notice front wheel are facing wrong way simply open chair and lean chair forward and try again.

Te he wheel chair looks greate and light, but in the picture it looks that the carrying case is compact. But mine came with a huge bag. Is there a way I can have the compact one? I need it for travel and protect my wheelchair
