I wanted a system with great bass response and this one fit the bill.

I bought to replace battery bt spkrs. The modification is bc they offer little spkr wire with push connections, not post and screw. With a little work, I'm happy with the sound on my patio. No more charging.

Subwoofers are way to powerful for such a small system. Even after adjusting the bass on the main speakers, the subwoofers are way to much! I like bass, but this is overkill! I ended up disconnecting one of the subwofers because with both of the hooked up, they rattled. So yea, kinda disappointed with the sound quality of this stereo system. I have a Victrola stereo in my bedroom, all one unit with built in speakers and it sounds way better than this one.

Overall this sounds pretty good although you have to max the volume to get any real powerful sound out of it. The speaker cables are extremely short so if you plan to use this with the speakers more than 2 or 3 feet from the main unit- it isn't going to work. Also mine shipped with one of the connector tabs on the end of the speaker wire completely broken and missing. It had to have been shipped that way because it isn't anywhere in the package or box. Not completely disappointed I guess but for almost $200, not sending broken stuff shouldn't have been too much to ask....Update: This will pair with multiple devices no problem...but it won't stay that way. Intermittent/choppy audio are common across devices as are frequent disconnects. It is more or less unusable with bluetooth. Regretting this purchase more each time I use it.Update 2: Should have just returned this. Bluetooth connectivity doesn't work making this unit worthless to me. Spend a little bit more and avoid Pyle products, they used to be good but that's not the case anymore.
