It can start to get quite expensive making the move from plastic to glass, but I feel that this set is very affordable without compromising on quality. The lids are solid and leakproof which is crucial for me as my containers often end up on their side or upside down in my work bag. They stack nicely in the cupboard and while the lids don't click together as others do, they seem to be easy to store (we use a lid organizer so that does help). We bought two sets for our household of two and altogether that was cheaper than one set from some of the other brands I was looking at.
